  1. Cameron and Lizzie are in on this. That this vacuous individual has been rewarded with a place in our legislature is as puzzling as it is pitiful.
  2. The devil is in the detail. Its often the case that the best warmongering speeches .... The clapping and cheering for Benn's oratory was a victory for just that, just oratory. Oratory in an arcane debating chamber. The Tory and Labour MPs joined together to congratulate delivery rather than content. I see trouble, trouble a-coming
  3. Its completely remarkable that not one happy clappy party placed seal felt the urge to support her. She'd be as well taking the Keegan option without further ado.
  4. I refer you to the previous answer of "Edinburgh" That was just awful for Kezia. I started to feel sorry for her.
  5. Its the skyline of central Scotland
  6. Goldie keeping her head down
  7. I wouldn't write him off "yet" This is hilarious. Good old BBC and their iplayer, this is accessible for all - tune in, tune in
  8. Auld Davie giving Dugdale and Goldie a hard time. Same old BBC, what is it with their pro indy bias?
  9. not one clap Kezia (cringing with embarrassment) not one clap
  10. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-business-33951838 I see my good friend D Fraser has committed a piece that seems to be as sympathetic as it can be. It seems to me that MM might need to dig deep into her PR pit of tricks to get out of this.
  11. Satuday radio ... Pat Bonner seemed to be suffering under the misapprehension that Iain Vigurs is a striker. Richard Gordon was clearly embarrassed for him.
  12. I know in your own sweet way and beneath the bravado that your intentions are clear. Thanks for your congratulations.
  13. Yes, there (their) most certainly has been. I've got one and I'm jolly well looking forward to a great day. I remain curious to discover if any gudgie coffs are joining us. I felt slightly uncomfortable supporting them in their appearance in the final but others and I made the effort nevertheless.
  14. I'm trying to pitch my camaraderie / antipathy to our cup final opponents. Did Falkirk vote YES with the good guys?
  15. When Ross County represented the Highlands some time ago, there were many of us that joined up and and delighted in the joy of community. I'm not sure how many, but it has been suggested that the number of ICT fans that supported Country that day extended well in to four figures. Although that day ended in disappointment, I felt proud to be part of it. I'd like to think that in the spirit of jacobite solidarity at least some County fans would wish us well.
  16. I'd also like to share my congratulations at this remarkable outcome for a club that had seemingly succumbed in the dead of winter. Those of us that relish the best of competition in the Highlands are, I'm sure, ever so glad that there will be derbies next season and the siren voices that didn't want Dodds and would have swiftly rejected McIntyre will surely now admit that dear old Uncle Roy has completed a quite remarkable piece of business.
  17. I say, its my belief that in the region of 15,000 tickets have been sold to the followers of Falkirk Football Club. If the premise that Inverness Caledonian Thistle have sold approximately 10,000 is a robust one, then I'm glad that wise counsel has prevailed and the suggestion that Easter Road would have sufficient capacity for this prestigious game has proved to be erroneous and pessimistic.
  18. How anybody with any semblance of rationality voted for or intends to vote for Coburn and co is beyond me. It seems (45 minutes in) that the imperialist British state has been bringing law and peace to the world for 300 years and the stasi SNP are going to have a spy in every home. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b05s24wg/sunday-politics-scotland-03052015
  19. There we go, the voice of reason. Well placed, being as it is, in a thread on UKIP.
  20. Aye we get it, we get your point. Have you got any others?
  21. A good friend tells me that Jimmy Calderwood was spotted at Dalcross this afternoon. I'm told he may well have flown in from his villa in Majorca via Gatwick.
  22. My dear DD, it is with a degree of regret that I find myself in a position of vulnerability. Of course it wasn't your good self that confused the former home of our city team with an under developed Dingwall venue. (coughs) Who was it then?
  23. Perhaps confusion rather than a Calvinistic guilt? Its easy to be confused and even befuddled. Well I never, it comes to me that one supporter even managed to confuse Telford St with Victoria Park. I wonder who that could have been?
