  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsNaR6FRuO0 I believe that there was an issue with the Black Isle server. It appears to be resolved now.
  2. It seems to me, on the basis of a very brief YouTube viewing, that Stewart Lee whilst being well regarded in some quarters is a gentleman long on verbiage and short on sparkle.
  3. What we need here is a ukip voter to advocate on their behalf. If only we had a ukip voter of some standing to provide some balance.
  4. "the early days of a better nation" once all of the water and fat is boiled away, its about positivity.
  5. You seem to be bewildered. What would stop us voting to reverse a YES vote?
  6. I'm surprised that so many have declared for YES. However... The full force of the British State (BS) was felt today and it will persist. Yesterday's promise of lovely devo has given way to fear fear fear. I hope our resolve is not so fragile as to be compromised.
  7. Happy days indeed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKm5xQyD2vE
  8. Oh super, perhaps Reynard, in his doubt, will go to ground again.
  9. In an independent Scotland, such sexism will be thoroughly discouraged. When encountered, most will be moved to have a stern word with the miscreant.
  10. Its my opinion (worth at least equal to the writer of the guff above) that Labour, having chosen the wrong brother, will not form the next UK government. One thing is certain, if we vote YES, we'll never, never ever again, be subjected to the shameful stuff that is visited upon us from London. I'm old enough to clearly remember M. Forsyth. The brutal Tories were in power for a generation and I shudder to think that we'll see his likes again.
  11. At the end of his documentary on Alex Salmond during the last election Portillo speculated on whether Salmond could deliver a YES vote despite the odds. I think Portillo suspected then that Salmond would succeed. Although he couldn't say it last night, I got the impression that he thinks a YES is now more than likely.
  12. I couldn't agree more, living within one's own means is where every team should be.
  13. Probably used standard Ross-shire counting technique. And included thumbs.
  14. I'd like to say that that's a full and effusive tribute to both chaps who, I'm assuming, gave good service to Ross County. It isn't so I can't. I'm afraid to say that I detect a want of class.
  15. no no no, jnr is your socially maladroit first team coach that, as a middle aged man, works with his dad
  16. Despite bunglebonce's obfuscation (sort of like Ad Lip but using 1,000 words fewer), we all know that jnr was making the point that he has achieved more than other teams, other teams with greater resources. Who, I ask, who are these teams? Its quite clear that some spreadsheet chicanery is taking place. I demand a financial fair play inquiry!
  17. Well done to Ross County in their securing top league status. Pity about Derek's need to be negative with his "village team" remarks tonight. It was also strange to hear him talk about money and others having more. Nevertheless, job well done.
  18. HaHa! If you were keeping up you would know that this investment, which is still in prospect, is not the new century klondike that Royston has gambled on. The prospect of a few fabrications to place yet for ordered wind turbines on is not a wave and tidal boom, a boom that is not happening any time soon.
  19. I had this come to me as part of a CV last week: "Forward facing customer role in a retail, charity, environment requiring good awareness and attention to detail." The applicant did not make my shortlist.
  20. not self aware, not even in the slightest.
