I think this was discussed earlier, but did I read it’s just a bronze license that’s needed for the top flight. i.e. no actual seating requirements (at least 6k and all that crap) etc?

We had a melt down last week on ours!

I never questioned Hopkin. Merely stated it's football and this is a forum. People will post without knowing the ins and outs all the time. With Airdrie and Livingston, there's a little bit of knowledge with some supporters as Livi signed four players. Comments/interest therefore driven by that. You might have freed up more money today btw but did Watt get any kind of pay off? I don't know - do you?

Agree that Airdrie fans tend to jump from one extreme to the other. There's not many that actually believe or think we'll win the league though. Our squad is paper thin and those on the bench aren't up to it at this point in time (as Saturday showed). That along with the fact we've been second best when we've played Livi means we're probably looking at play offs. I don't understand why you're surprised at supporters commenting on the amount of players you're signing though. It's a football forum. That's kind of what happens. And as Livi are top of the league we'd surely have a natural interest in who you are bringing in. The next obvious thing is then to question how you can afford it based on your gates. Pretty simple really. Edited to say aufc beat me by seconds. I shouldn't have bothered!

Good question (apart from the big wages bit - we've a lot of youngsters and no depth). Certainly wouldn't think it's viable in the long run. New owner has invested to enable us to go full time and while it's nice to show ambition etc not sure what would happen if he loses interest. On a separate note, thought Livi deserved the win in the end today. Where was Liam Watt, is he injured? And is Cadden normally on the bench now?

Keep saying daft things and people will respond. Kind of how forums like this work. Just what "productive" thing do you think Livi are doing with their money exactly? A nice high interest savings account? Stocks and shares? It was a fair question given Livingston's recent history. And hardly one that just Airdrie fans are asking. No need to get upset.
