Balmoral's only 20 odd miles up the road from me - may take my dog a wee walk up by the nearby pyramids later and watch the world's media.
Plus the bakery at adjacent Crathie now do the best rowies going since the sad demise of Aitkens, due to Prince Andrew type behaviour from their chief.
Deeside's had the new PM, the Tour of Britain and now this all within a week.
Is that what happened with Aitkens bakery? They had a few shops in Aberdeen when I was a student and then they just seemed to disappear.

What the actual f**k is the point of PMQs? There's never a bloody answer. Can we stop all the right honorable pish? It's the 21st Century and that room is full of toddlers screaming "MOOOOOOOOOOOOORE" when somebody says something they like.
Thanks Theresa for that question. There's a national crisis on the go just now so lets just slag off the oppostion and hint at them being sexist.
I f**king can't stand the Conservatives. PMQs just needs to stop though as it offers nothing other than "oh come back in a day or two and I'll tell you more".

I can confirm that the club tried absolute everything to sign an experienced centre back. Wasnt to be however as player chose another option.

Thought the first two episodes of the new series of Shetland were a bit slow and the red herrings were really obvious but episode 3 ramped things up and finished on a real cliffhanger.
Yeah I'm looking forward to tonight's episode. Surely they haven't....

Am I right in saying that we've played 13 matches this season and 6 of them have finished 3-0?
Delighted for the team finally getting a win last night. It's something to build on and hopefully we can start to pull away from the bottom of the table.

I’m feeling positive, we’re gonna do it.
Just realised not won since that fine performance at Elgin which gave us so much hope going into the play offs. Feels an awful long time ago.
Tonight’s the night, be there everyone to witness it.
The last match I attended. Coincidence?

It's fair to say that the last few years have been excruciating for us Cowden fans. It feels like a life time ago we were thrashing Dunfermline at East End!
I must confess to being less invested in the club this season. I've a 1 year old son, just bought a new house and not having matches up North this season has made me feel very disconnected to the team and the club. It must be horrendous to be watching these 'kids' getting thumped each week.
I've always been a big backer of Maurice. I was at a bounce match in Dundee last Christmas not long after he started and he was quite a fascinating watch. So invested in the game, constantly looking for ways to change and improve the game. Total moaner as well and very blunt in his analysis so I can imagine what he is like with senior players that he disagrees with.
However so far this season the results have been unacceptable. We've not been helped with injuries. Scott Sinclair getting his toe broken early in the season means he's not as sharp as he could be for example. We can't afford to sack him so it's about making good with what we have.
The most soul destroying thing for me currently is reading the Facebook comments after we get beat. The number of people who say the board have given up just infuriates me. We've had a director bloody cleaning the main stand to help save on cleaning costs FFS!

So I've finally managed to get a gas quote for the new house I've moved into. Gas is either gonna be around £160 a month on the variable rate of be £340/month for a fixed term of 1 year. Grim.
Electricity I'm still to get an actual quote for which is infuriating. Was on hold for ages with SSE, gave up and tried a live chat. 47th in the queue

It was a good realistic ending. Sad it's all over!

We got a handful of gifts for our ones when they were one and put the money we would have spent into their savings accounts. I just found it pointless spending that money on toys that they'd be grown out of in no time and as you say, they prefer the boxes anyway!
That's actually a really good idea. In fairness we didn't spend much on him - we've just moved to a new house so we bought him stuff for his bedroom so at least he'll get the use of it.
Christmas is a different story though - might put the money into savings if the wife agrees.....

That's my wee boy just turned 1 last week. Incredible how fast it goes and it's fair to say he was spoilt rotten.
Of course the best gift is the bloody box his new toy came in. Christmas I'm just going to get him some flat pack boxes and it'll make his year

Just a great time for me to be trying to get a Gas/elec contract just now. No websites actually allowing you to get a quote as it's cheaper to stay with your current provider.
I've been at my in-laws for 9 months and now have a new home. I take it all I can do is phone around? Anybody else had a similar situation where they could sort it online?

I think Cowden will have a very slow start but pick up form around October time. I'd take a top 5 finish to be honest as we lack experience. We could do with scoring a goal as well

Yeah that was a great episode. Well worth the wait.
I take it it's a week until the next?

Maurice confirms that we'll be playing 4-3-3 this season. Attacking football.

Just finished the series finale. Enjoyable enough but I'd have been satisfied if they just left it there.
My wife couldn't believe it when I said there is another season to come

I was speaking with Cowden Cowboy a couple days ago and asked if we were ever signing a keeper. "it's all in hand" was his reply.
Keep the faith guys - still plenty time.
SpoilerJust don't ask him about signing experienced players

Berwick away is 29th of October. We finish the season away to Spartans and then at home to East Kilbride.
I cannot believe 3 of our first 5 matches are the bloody Colt teams. We lose all them with a young team and you wonder if the confidence disappears....

I think people are being a bit harsh on Jamie. At L2 level he had a mistake a game in him but I think at Lowland he won't be as caught out as often.
That said I'm ok he's not with us

Given that the tasks aren't shown in chronological order, I've always thought that they are arranged in such a way that each contestant has a decent chance of winning at least one episode, with Greg's opinion and the live task always having the potential to muck that up. Judi will NEVER have a better chance to win an episode than last night.
It wouldn't surprise me if she wins the finale tonight. No idea who I want to win - I was rooting for Chris at the start but Sophie has really grown on me.
Dream scenario - Ardal smashes it and wins

Any of last season’s players remaining?
Not as far as I am aware. One was meant to be but then it was announced he had signed elsewhere.

Wonder if anyone from last seasons squad will get re signed
I'm fairly sure it'll be a whole new team.
So what cups do we get to compete in this season? Obviously the 3 big ones but what Lowland League ones are there?

Fair enjoyed the Scandi episode to be honest. One of the better ones they've done.
