I thought this thread was going to be about the match-fixing allegations levelled at Maguire and Burnett in their match on Monday. A large number of bets were placed on Maguire winning 9-3, and, of course, that was how the match finished, with Burnett missing a fairly simple black in the last frame to hand Maguire the victory. Burnett claimed that he found out about the betting during the interval, and that he missed the black because of the massive pressure on him to make the pot to avoid accusations of cheating

That explains why Oasis haven't had anything for a while.

Yeah, I've been watching it. He's played well so far, but as usual Nadal is so difficult to beat. All those missed break points at the start of the 2nd set might prove to be the final straw.

Someone keeps nicking my cans of Pepsi Max from the kitchen in my work. I wouldn't mind giving away the odd one if someone asked, but it's annoying when you go up expecting to have one there and it's gone. I'm only working part-time during the summer, so I don't really want to say anything in case I tread on folk's toes.
