  1. It just keeps giving. If Carlseberg did advent Calenders the Sevco Nativity Countdown would surely feature highly. Today is like when you sneak 2 doors open. There must be a day with no laugh out load news in store. Brilliant.
  2. The present that just keeps giving. Expect Ashleys men to be digging for any piece of dirt they can find. I suspect they will be trawling every e - mail, text message and computer he has been within a mile of.
  3. I think if you look at the calender year 2014 stats you will find they are horrendous. In particular the home stats.Whether we were good or bad yesterday, unlucky or not Murray and the ENTIRE coaching staff need to go. There has been ZERO progress on the pitch. We are still dismall, we make the same mistakes repeatedly, Our youth players, who Murray signed STILL warm the bench, the fans are sick of the product on sale. Staying up and harvesting the cash this season is short sighted. In 2 years we will a significantly smaller core support. We are losing fans every week because of Murray. We are fed up with performances, fed up with the negativity, fed up with the lack of tactics and fed up with the same tired old excuses. Murray has to take responsibility.
  4. This stinks but it is simply because te playing and coaching staff have contracts that will need paid out. The admin and other staff will get served notice and statutory redundancy pay. Just goes to show how tight the cash really is. Desperate times
  5. So whats planned for the weekend then? more red cards protests? More threats of a protest? A wee gathering outside Ibrokes? The fans of The Rangers have fiddled while Rome burnt. Now the pigeons could well be coming home to roost on the ashes.
  6. Have i missed something? the sheer irony involved in The Rangers fans getting all high and mighty about copyright. This is a group of fans who buy tat in the streets around Govan. Where half of the jakies wear knock off gear from the Barra's (or some other organised crime, counterfeiting family). Where are the club going to get money for a law suit? lol.
  7. Actually the suggestion that Lloyds were to blame is not too far wide of the mark. Lloyds put a representative on the Borad of Rangers. Now the Board of any company has a duty to that company. In fact the Lloyds member on the Board at Ibrox had a clear conflict of interest becuase it was his remit to see that Lloyds loan was repaid. He was not a Board member of Lloyds but an employee. As a Board member of Rangers he should have been putting the interests of Rangers first.
  8. Given the level of disquiet about our form, the quality of football and the dismal tactics of the manager. How long will it be before the Board issue an other statement rubbishing our opinions and slapping us down for wanting value for money. Must be about time to be reminded how lucky we are to have a club to support and we should just shut up.and like it.
  9. We have 1 more player. 4 keepers this year instead of 3 last season. Not exactly more strength in depth. The 4th coined keeper will never feature in a 1st team squad.
  10. I am not a fan of Grant Murray. His tactical ability seems close to non existent. He must take responsibility for the current situation. HE signed McGurn and Hill.in the summer when he KNEW they were injured. Having said that the Board must also shoulder some of the blame. Where is the BIGGER squad. They defended Murrays performance last season by blaming lack of numbers but the squad this year is almost exactly the same size. Some of the squad we all know will never feature so the usable squad is almost still too small.
  11. Would it be possible to get Danny Lennon, as a former player, to do the half-time draw at the next home game please. Just maybe this would make Murray realise that there are other competant managers out there. This is not all Grants fault. He has a decent sized team working with him. What on earth are they doing?
  12. 1) Rangers didn't have a transfer ban. 2) Rankine just paying the 10K doesn't make the original offence disappear. You would still have made illegal undisclosed payments to a player.
  13. So Livi knew about these payments a long time ago. Given that they were hopfull that they could have been "RESOLVED during the JULY court action". They have deliberately waited until AFTER they have assembled a decent squad KNOWING that they would make a decleration which would result in a transfer ban which would have no impact. CHEATS!
  14. EXACTLY!! The transfer ban wil have no effect. Are you saying the club never knew about these payments 4 or 5 weeks ago? Of course they would have. Legal action takes a long time. It looks very much like they have CHOSEN to come clean once they have assembled a squad full in the knowledge that a transfer ban would have no impact.
  15. If this is a tit for tat thing then Livi should be very heavily punished. This implies they KNEW about this but were keeping quiet until they thought it was a good idea to try and get back at Nixon.
  16. This league has more snakes i it than an Indiana Jones movie. Cheating, tax dodging charlatans.
  17. You must be on the wind up. The people behind the scenes who are out trying to encourage fans along are on ahiding to nothing when Murray is incapable of putting out a team that will put in a decent performance. We would get people back if the product was decent and they were being entertained. Being a supporter of the club doesn't mean you sit idly by smiling and clapping like all is well in the world when you can see it is not. Now away and fish somewhere else.
  18. If there was a single green shoot of recovery I would back Murray but there simply isn't. We set up negatively AGAIN. We sat deep against a lower division team AGAIN. He has learned nothing from last season. The shape of the team does not suit the players he has but he won't change the shape of the team. He is clueless. High balls to Nade for 80% of the game. I think he won 2 headers all night. Play it to his feet though and we create chances. I don't want rid of Murray because of 1 or 2 results or because I dislike him. He needs to go because: 1) He has no tactical ability. He doesn't change the shape of the team or the personnel. 2) The football on show isn't good enough. I am rarely ever entertained. 3) His record of signing players is very suspect. 4) Even once loyal fans are staying away. 5) This team is no better than the Dalziel, Hetherston and (at a push) the Anelka teams. 6) I can't see any sign that he can fix it.
  19. Still too early for a Murray must go thread. He is miles out of his depth. These are ALL his players and HIS team things better improve soon or the home end will be empty.
  20. It may be no bad thing that mcKeown seems a bit less cavalier than Booth. Booth looked good and was definately the type of player the fans loved to see. We need to remember though that we were shipping goals left right and centre for months. Although not obvious Booth playing in an attacking style did leave a lot of space in behind which hurt us. Hopefuly the overall shape will suit and we will be a better team for it.
  21. Much improved today. Cuthbert looked assured. Perry and Watson looked well suited. The back 4 looked better. A bit narrow at times bit had a good shape. Midfield was much better. Not brilliant but promising. Much more mobile and energetic. Nade and Vaughan worked ok. Vaughan a bit behind Nade. Play the ball to Nade's feet or body and he will be a hand full for any defence. Pleasing performance today.
  22. Fingers crossed for something positive from today's game. Was pretty certain that I wasn't going after Tuesdays performance but it looks like I will forego watching the golf and head down.
  23. Personally I am not over reacting to the results. I am reacting out of concern that nothing seems to have changed. We don't seem to have learned any lessons. The output from the club seems the same. Murray seems to be saying the same. There really isn't anything that I can see that gives me any hope that things will be different to last season.
  24. Same old pish that is standard fair from the club and the manager. "We were crap in 2014 because the squad was too small". Murray today "no immediate plans to add to the squad". So the squad is 1 body bigger. Also Murray trotting out the same crap. "We will learn from our drubbing by York". Really? we don't seem to have learned a single thing since December 2013. The last straw is the comparison drawn to last pre-season that we shouldn't worry because Hearts put 5 past us last pre-season. Really. Tell me why that's a comfort. How did our league campaign turn out last season? I am not sure if Murray is just utterly deluded or whether he just can't do media but he seems to just put his foot in it every time.
  25. Will probably get as much fans on the Firday night as we would have got clashing with the Scotland game. QotS bring a minimal support anyway so its not really a great loss in terms of travelling numbers. It could be a nice wee experiment with Friday night football though.
