  1. 8 goals in 30 appearances for Lawless at Livi. Surprised they let him go. You heard anything Dele or just a hope?
  2. The Record is a shite newspaper, but it is their job to try and uncover this guy. Perhaps if Budge didn't go on national radio to mention him and lambast Neil Doncaster then the guy would've remained anonymous.

    FM 2020

Have a massive dilemma. A dilemma so big it's made me save and shut down my laptop to mull over. I've not been into an FM save all year. Tried many, many, many different saves but just couldn't get into it barring a wee online game with a few folk on here. Anyway - That all changed. I'm 4 seasons deep with a team called Dorking. Horrible name aside, I've made brilliant progress with them and grown quite attached. In 4 seasons, we've been promoted twice and are currently enjoying our first ever season in league football. Currently 10th in England's League 2. In touching distance of the play-offs going into December. Not spent a penny since I joined which was the original goal. We have went full time and built a new stadium in the time I've been at the club but only get 2400 fans on average. (Which is massive compared to the couple of 100 that came at the start of our journey). Barnsley, however, have headhunted me. They're having a nightmare of a season sitting 12th in League One. 6 points off the play-offs, 12 off top spot (Stoke) in what is an incredible League One name wise this season. The issue? They've offered me £14m to spend in January with a £6.5m wage budget. Contrast that with Dorking who cant afford to pay a penny in transfer fees and spend 750k a season in wages (The next closest in League 2 is over a million). To put it into context Barnsley pay a player £23,500 a week whilst my whole squad combined earn £19,000 per week including youth team. Should I jump?
  4. I've skipped to write a reply - Still only at your signings for this season. Marron I signed in my Dundee save. Lower Prem potential with Championship current. Didn't develop as I wanted him to do so I papped him to Alloa. He ended up becoming their captain, leading them into Europe and staying for 10+ years with regular top 6 finishes in the top flight. They and I always played him as a CH rather than a RB though which I found interesting that he was going to be your RB!
  5. Always thought Carson was the superior keeper in the admittedly little I've seen of them both. Both obviously cracking keepers, but Gillespie was established after Carson's time out so thought it'd be Carson that'd be away. Some jump to Newcastle where he'll be unlikely to ever start ahead of Dubravka - And that's before they start spending Saudi money. I'm desperate for anyone ahead of Jack Hamilton so would hope if Ferguson is half decent, we'll be sniffing! Knew that O'Hara would come good. Bit of a bambi on ice at times but can throw defenders about with his physicality. The rumour was we got around 100k for him but that seems unlikely as Kilmarnock were due money if he left us for a fee so I think it was just a minimal development fee. Nothing you shouldn't be able to afford even with the current climate. Do you think any of your released list would've been kept on if it weren't for the circumstances we find ourselves in? Then why release them? Which was more what I was getting at in the first place and since been answered, but snidey comments always welcome I suppose.
  6. The fact they'd choose a man with rape allegations hanging over him and rumoured to have dementia over Bernie Sanders a genuine progressive candidate sums the democrats up. They deserve to have Trump win another election.
  7. Quite a few surprising one's in that list. I'd take Ferguson, Gillespie, Hartley, Tait and O'Hara at Dens. Imagine Gillespie has an English gig lined up or Robinson told him that Carson will be back as number 1? Was Ferguson not very highly rated? Thought he was meant to be the next big thing at Airdrie.
  8. Cosgrove's hatred for Dundee borders on irrational. Sure he confirmed that he hates us because we won the league and relegated his beloved St Johnstone in the 60s and he's never forgiven us. It's annoying because other than that and his passion for being a bit of a pretentious w**k at times, he's actually fun to listen to.
  9. They're the anonymous backers, obviously.
  10. This has been a gamechanger for me in regards to paywalls: https://github.com/iamadamdev/bypass-paywalls-chrome Just google whatever browser you have and 'bypass paywalls' if not Chrome and the 'github' link will allow you to bypass all major websites that have a paywall.
  11. And they're alleging that Trump had Epstein killed. They've also hacked the Minneapolis PD website which is still offline: http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/police/ They've uploaded a book of people involved with Epstein which ranges from Alec Baldwin to Naomi Campbell to the Royal Family: https://www.scribd.com/doc/257106594/JEs-LBB
  12. Nice to see only one former Dundee scheister features in your top 7.
  13. The police are absolutely out of control. They arrested a journalist live on CNN this morning:
  14. My plan was to take a refund and put it towards the cash of buying one for this coming season.
  15. Because he's a fucking moron that wants to have the opportunity to be condescending as opposed to contributing to any debate.
  16. It's part of the riots that are currently going on. They attacked a local target store and she decided to dish out some vigilante justice. There's an image of her with her knife out a bit before this:
  17. Genuinely reckon Hearts might be fucked if they can't offer partial refunds and they're clinging this hard to staying up.
  18. Nick Robinson trending. Apparently he crucified Matt Hancock in a radio interview. I was never a massive fan, particularly during the Indy ref, but he's light-years ahead of Laura Kuennsberg. Why was he replaced?
  19. There's 2 reasons she asked for the night off - 1. She had some urgent personal issue. 2. She was angry/annoyed/Whatever other negative emotion you want about the warning. It's some coincidence if it's the former. Matt Hancock is growing massively in confidence. Laughing in Kay Burley's face: As much as he's a c**t, his weird looking laughing face made me chuckle. He reminded me of a P&B argument when the other wants to bury the argument by laughing at the person they're arguing with.
  20. Only the Mirror and the Guardian focusing on Cummings. There's quite a few instances where he's not even mentioned.
  21. Imagine the furore if they'd done that to Paxman. The auld c**t must be glad he packed it in.
