  1. Asda described it as a 'sweet wine' which is all I went off. https://groceries.asda.com/product/all-other-grapes/mavrodaphne-of-patras-nyx/910002715535 Fared not too badly in the spag bol all things considered! Makes sense that it's port opposed to red though as I hate that too.
  2. Speaking of 'red' wine - Took a punt on this: Has to be the worst thing I've ever tasted. Horrendous doesn't cover it. Missus used some for her batch of spaghetti bolognese. That's about all it's good for.
  3. Rioja seems to be the popular red on here. It's shite. Chianti is where it is at.
  4. The crucial thing is that they named him which the police don't tend to do in these types of situation.
  5. True, but the Downing Street statement did include his family. Downing Street statement: ‘At no stage was he or his family spoken to by the police about this matter, as is being reported.'
  6. Truly is showing that The Thick of It was a documentary, not a political satire:
  7. Durham Police rightfully raging and released a statement even naming Cummings:
  8. Boris won't know it's even happening till he switches his phone on on Tuesday.
  9. Good to see our Prime Minister Grant Schapps coming out to explain all:
  10. I still can't see it. Pretty much every single minister has leapt to his defense - if they punt him now, it'll look bad on them. The only way I can see out of it is if Cummings resigns but still doesn't admit defeat and states that he's resigning to allow the govt to focus on the real issues instead of being harassed with nonsense or some such patter that will be a ridiculous attempt to save face. Even then, I can't see Cummings doing that - He seems the type that'd rather bring them all down with him. Therefore, deny, deny, deny seems to be the logical (And embarrassing) option.
  11. I suspect that Cummings and the government are just going to deny the second article as lies. They've already accused the police of being liars so calling journalists liars isn't exactly a jump. And all the Tory lovers will lap it up.
  12. Bit bizarre that 'Cummimgs' is allowed to trend.
  13. Pippa Crerar's skill level in holding that article back in order to give the government rope is absolutely top notch.
  14. Are most people using the 6 month gratis period on their MOT or just getting it done? Unsure as to what the best option is - car is operating fine just now. There's a garage less than a mile away still operating and my car is due the middle of next month.
  15. Why is Dominic Cummings not allowed to trend? I see stuff like Cummimgs needing to be the trend due to this. That opens up all sorts of conspiracies into the freedom of what we can see online.
  16. And he called the police liars tbf. All in all a good days work.
  17. Fair enough. I'm not asking this as a loaded question, with genuine curiosity, why do you think Dunfermline and apparently QotS are not going down this route as well?
  18. Dundee's statement said they did: 'The club have also taken the decision to extend the contracts of all the professional players who are out of contract next month. Through advice from the SPFL the club have offered short term extensions through the end of June to these players and will review the situation and make further decisions at that time based on the information available.' https://dundeefc.co.uk/news/christies-contract-extended/
