  1. That's what we keep wondering, it's always been like that since I can mind...
  2. A week is a long time in football, especially when he said he's on the lookout for players...
  3. Some of us who are interested in the team like to be updated on developments, without demanding to know the ins and outs.
  4. I was hoping McGlynn was going to say something about players he's pursuing in his interview. Better news about Musonda 'tho.
  5. Dunfermline saying they might have a couple of players out, possibly three. It makes a change for our opponents to have injury problems, for us it's the normal situation. We still have our two best players out, Vaughan and Musonda, until recently we had others.
  6. My drift was that it would be just our luck for stand ins to play blinders. Re Kennedy: he was really good when he came down to us but gradually became less effective. We would still have him, but fortunately Zanatta is much more effective.
  7. And without doubt the stand ins will be standouts. Incidentally, I read that Rangers don't seem too happy with Kennedy's development at EEP compared to ICT and Rovers, and are thinking of recalling him in January.
  8. Its only a goal. The difference is that Dunfermline and Falkirk think that's their true stature as clubs.
  9. Odd how both Dunfermline and Falkirk, similar "aspiring big time clubs" appoint an endless stream of dud managers
  10. Aye, Grant needs to quit the philosophy and concentrate on what he's good at, managing a football t.....
  11. Grant couldn't have picked a more bizarre analogy but his point is simple enough, that there are some things that can only be understood by experience.
  12. Things don't look too bad - Grant's distracted from working out Wednesday's tactics wondering what it's like for women to be pregnant.
  13. It's one of these borderline ones. Not every penalty, foul, offside, booking, sending off etc is clear cut. Their keeper handling outside the box apparently was clear cut...
  14. Grant showed in the abandoned game that he isn't treating this as a normal game. It'll be out the blocks at 100 mph, pressing high up and giving us no time on the ball. However, that can't be kept up for 90 minutes. McGlynn hinted in his post Thistle interview that he's expecting that.
  15. Everything Dunfermline fans are predicting about this match is exactly what QOS fans said prior to their 2-0 win at Starks.
  16. Well spotted. You've got to wonder who gets to compile these stats....
  17. We didn't dominate the midfield today as we usually do at home. Maybe that was due to Thistle not giving us time on the ball. Dunfermline tried that in the abandoned game and will no doubt use the same tactic on Wednesday.
  18. My sympathies entirely. My "Hmmm" wasn't aimed at you but at the reaction I got for an identical post.
