  1. Could be worse, we could all sit in silence like our wee friends from Kirkcaldy. Wow.
  2. I've been sitting in the back row of the section E for a while and being honest I find them a bit nippey, I'm all for atmosphere, but this pishy manufactured european one is baws. At the last game you had them trying to get a derogotory song about Dean Shiels on the go=bad banter, you then had a couple telling of other fans for being "pish fans" because they wern't doing the Poznan, all the while banging a drum to no particular beat. I also fail to see why there's any need for them to have a name, everyone in the Norrie are pars fans, why do they need a name and motto? I understand I come across as a right grumpy basturd but I'm only a teenager myself, I'm just really not a fan of the choice of songs, give me a chorus of In yer Rovers Slums over that overplayed song that we stole from Motherwell. Edited to add:-And it's going to fail as soon as the North West re-opens for a Rovers derby and half of the singing section go back to the middle of the NW...
  3. If he's a good player we'd be more than happy to, I don't know of a single Pars fans who has bad feelings for Cowdenbeath.
  4. Is it not quite conceivable that Gallagher was taking training because Potter wasn't there that day? He's only contracted for 2 pr 3 days a week and one of those is a matchday.
  5. Where does he play and what role does he do? All I know of him is that he gets allot of stick for being a bit of a play-acter.
  6. What sort of position does there dad in-law hold at Dunfermline?
  7. In the least offensive way possible it was the only reason why I could think that anything thought that because everyone in our defence was bad it should mean that everyone was culpable for it. That isn't the case, various members of the defence and midfield were at fault, Dowie and McMillan were the only two defensive players who have any shred of dignity left after this season.
  8. Chris Smith was the keeper for the best defence(technically) in the first division season before last, it doesn't mean he was the best keeper though. And I can't see many people being to outraged if he leaves too. Just because he was a part of the worse defence does not mean he is a bad player, it only takes a couple of weak links(McCann,Boyle,Keddie,Potter,Thomson) for a defence to fall apart, and it's certainly not Dowies fault he got paired alongside those players. Not to even begin mentioning the total lack of protection the defence got from the midfield. Out of interest have you ever played football? in particular did you ever play in defence?
  9. I watched it, and it was boring and pish. Genuinely the most boring sport to watch. Interesting fact for you, loads of people die each year, doesn't mean it's actually that great a thing to do, ken?
  10. Stephen Simmons, there's a blast from the past. By blast I mean a square boot in the baws, useless p***k.
  11. Nothing concrete, Jim Jeffries did have 6 trialists who all performed well in the bounce game but my source is remaining tight lipped about who they are, this is either because 1)He doesn't know who they are, or 2)He doesn't want to tell me because as soon as I found out I'd tell everyone. Either way he's making the right choice, he did say though that they were all attack minded players who were quick and reasonably fast, sounds promising. Although I've heard us linked with Greig Spence and Mark McKenzie among others.
  12. Should see how enjoyable it is to win a game with 7 minutes left, to win a game despite being 1-0 down with twenty minutes left through a last minute goal, and to deservedly win with 10 men, much enjoyable
  13. To say he isn't is even more so. By far and away our most naturally gifted footballer in the squad.
  14. Very reliable source. By that I mean he put something on his pussbook about being unemployed, I haven't got him as a friend but someone I do know has. My guess is he's been released because we have Whittle who is a very similar player but on less wages. Still would've loved to keep him though, will be missed.
  15. Was talking to someone who had watched Whittle in the bounce game we had a week or so ago and he said Whittle was a very good player, fast and agile, certainly I'm quite excited about seing this boy play. He was also vercy complimentary to our two young centra backs, pleasing.
  16. Buchanan is a more than good enough for the first division.
  17. Kinda of like a Scottish Ji Sung-Park, could run all day if you pointed him in the right direction.
  18. Whoa there, in Scotland "c**t" is quite an endearing term He might have I suppose, I doubt it but then much stranger things have happened in football, I doubt we'll ever find out though.
  19. Erm pretty much everything. He just lacked that bit phyiscally for the step up, and he wasn't good enough technically to make up for it if you get what I mean? Size isn't necessarily an issue if you can read the game well, or if you can play that killer pass, or take it past a couple of players... Burns just wasn't able to do that. Holding your own in a one off cup game and holding your own for a season is an entirely different prospect I'm sure you'll agree, it's why it's not really relevant to try compare teams based on how they done in the Scottish cup, when you played against Aberdeen a couple of seasons back every single one of your players held there own and excelled, but there is no way in this earth that John Stewart is an SPL striker.
  20. Beleive me, he wouldn't. There are some players in our team who I might consider to be Spl class, Graham if he sorted his attude, Cardle, Gallagher, McMillan and a fully fit Bell could all be Spl players, Burns just isn't. It's the reason as to why we were just so bad this year, we signed 1st division quality players.
