How active an effort do Raith Rovers make to get the people through the gates? Just wondering because Kirkcaldy is (ever so slightly) bigger than Dunfermline, and yet they just don't seem to want to respond to the Rovers, certainly I'd be wanting more off an attendance for the size of the place. This is not a windup btw, just wondering, it's sad and worrying times when you have Raith Rovers looking over there shoulders because of finances.

And yes, if we get relegated from the spl we will be worse of financially, less income usually does mean you are worse of financially...

Most likely, but in about 6 months we will be able to get him on a pre-contract and Raith are by all means, rookit. 5K and a player isn't the worst offer you'll ever see, if he was really all that great there would have been spl clubs battering down his backdoors to snap him up for nothing over the summer, he certainly won't ever attract a 50k type offer like someone suggested earlier. It works out best for everyone in any case, we're playing with a lone striker right now, and I dread to think of high balls getting punted at Baird *shudder*

I'm pretty sure if memory serves me correct when he came in there was more than a fair few Rovers fans claiming it would win them the league, similarly on fantalk a few where laughing at the "past it crock" who had just signed for Dunfermline from St Johnstone... I'm pretty sure the Rovers fans were happyier last season having just finished 7th Losing to us must've been pretty shit but considering you finished second I would've thought there would've been more happiness....
