In fairness Dowie has been solid, it hasn't been his fault that we've conceded so many goals, Smith, McCann, Keddie and Thomson all helped out at one point or another. Gallagher was our player of the season before he got injured, despite being our keeper, if it hadn't been for Gallagher we would've conceded much more, similarly Dowie being less shit than his teamates helped contribute to us conceding less goals.

There are also clauses in the contracts of those who are on 2 years that there wages would get cut if relegated, probably the most sensible financial planning we've done in years.

The thing with back up keepers is that every now and then they have to play, Chris Smith was meant to be our back up keeper, he wasn't good at this level.

That is true, but but he didn't look like a player at all lad. He wasn't particularly good at either, but he was specfiacally horrible at defending. He will now score a 30 yarder next season

In fairness he's spent a year away from his family, to not play all that much and to not even get recognised with a winners medal(Dunfermline gave winners medals to anyone who made an appearance with us, after all, everyone did contribute in there own way, even Hyde and Bayne. I can see where he's coming from.

I remember Simmons that day so well, Pre Match one of my mates had a team line, and we were looking through but for the life of us we couldn't figure out the Raith team, until they lined up for kick off with Simmons on the left wing, it was quite amusing. Definately a case of McGlynn bottling it, similarly with his decision to keep McNeil in for that game instead of "The Witch". At the time I thought Tades chance was a sitter, but I've seen it a few times and it doesn't look nearly as bad in fairness.

Then in the last episode they killed of Rakharo, one of Daenarys bloodriders who is constantly around her, also the love interest of her two best mates, certainly not beyond the realms of reasoning he'll play some part in the upcoming two books? Drogo did die in the books through an infection, he didn't get it in the same way but he still died none the less.

First and last time I'll see "Thompson" and "Quality" in the same sentence, read into it what you will but we decided playing Andy Dowie at right back was better. He'll be alright in the first though, can swing in a dangerous cross and can run up and down the wing all day without being particularly that fast, has got a horrible first touch/pass though and jesus f**k he's really,really bad if someone runs at him. I hope he does well though, if/when we get relegated the fife derbys are the only thing that will get me through the first.
