  1. Stirling due a win. No way can they be as poor as they were against Cowden. Home win.
  2. Me too. Effectively finished his career at the end of a game Elgin were losing by four or five goals. The guy almost lost his leg. One of the more stupid posts.
  3. Megginson wasn't injured and playing the next game, it wasn't even a foul. Not unusual for him to go off "injured" when he's had a few hard tackles. He (Megginson) was booked earlier in the game for a bad tackle on a Cowden player.
  4. Alternatively.... Aberdeen or whoever bring in loan players from England instead of giving their young guys a game; the young guys go to Cove who are obliged to play them at the expense of local youngsters who will be surplus to requirements and end up down the swing park with 2 litres of cheap cider and thoughts of tanning your motor to relieve the boredom. After watching that debacle last night it seems obvious that our “bigger” teams would prefer to fill their teams with journeymen from down south than give our youngsters a chance. Aberdeen have been part of that in recent times.
  5. Hamilton was excellent against Annan. I’m never sure about Pyper, makes too many mistakes.
  6. I’d take a draw against the cloggers. Always a difficult place to get a win.
  7. Goal was a carbon copy of Cowdens 2nd against them in the play off. And no tantrums?
  8. How did Cove play? Can’t find any reports. Was anyone there?
  9. I’m a Renton fan, however, we had our best spell last season when he was missing and who could forget the demolition of Edinburgh City and the performance of Allan. Surely there is some way that they can play together?
  10. So did I. Pyper is much faster than Todd, granted. But that’s all.
  11. Brechin won’t get any manager from this league. Nice try though.
  12. Real shame Jordyn couldn’t get back into the team. Who could forget the game against Stirling when, for a bout 25 mins the Stirling players couldn’t get the ball from him. Good luck big man.
  13. The Dons sadly, aren’t the team they have been in recent seasons. It’s going to be a long slog.
  14. Not so sure about that. Brora were up there with Cove last season.
  15. We know, we’ve been there. It’s too easy to get caught in a rut. Dropping a league and losing all your players is always going to make the start of the next season very difficult.
  16. Correct, it’s ridiculous and he should be setting an example as captain.
