Which hotels, takeaways and houses? So far it’s one small Starbucks on the industrial estate. Anyone who uses the A944 will confirm that travel will be a real problem. On Thursday I drove from Aberdeen to Westhill. Traffic from town was backed up way past the Kingswells roundabout, traffic from the West backed up to Aldi in Westhill!! And traffic on the bypass from the North backed up on the bypass for a long way. The problem is the Kingsford roundabout, probably the worst design of any roundabout anywhere. Goodness knows what will happen when several thousand cars want to leave the area.

So now Milne needs two million ponds just to allow the training facilities and “sports hub” to be completed. Where is the money for the stadium coming from? Looks like fans will need deep pockets.

This has been “done to death” The UEFA comment was made in desperation, just about everyone knows that it is rubbish. Who will benefit most from the sale of Pittodrie? Just asking.

Fans from the N and S would have been OK if they didn't have to cross the Kingsford roundabout. Probably the worst designed roundabout in the country. A few hundred cars is enough to create back to Kingswells from the East, and back into Westhill from the West. There were no significant queues before. As for the A944, goodness only knows what will happen there. When it's busy it can 45 mins just to travel a couple of miles. Why don't you try it one afternoon when there's a few hundred cars on the go ( no shuttle buses!) Go out to the Westhill roundabout and back into town and you'll soon realise the problems.
