  1. Fail to see how the strip is a "shocker" - I probably won't buy it as I never usually do - but it's no better or worse than most Pars tops over the last 5 or 6 years.
  2. Yeah. Still slightly OTT though I'm sure you'll agree.
  3. Yeah.......were one poster compared Josh leaving to the death of a close family member. Roasters on every forum.
  4. I had a copy of this dumped on my desk today by a guy from Methil who's been telling me for the last 3 years that The Rangers being "relegated" to the bottom tier of Scottish football is "doing all the wee teams a favour" There's so many holes in it I don't know where to begin. Dunfermline went bust in 2013........... "Cash strapped" Ayr............. "The temptation will be to bump up wages to attract better players — but that strategy has got teams into trouble in the past"...........that's right folks, everyone else should tighten their purse strings whilst they sign 33 year old journeymen for 25k a week. "Rangers were booted down to League Two in 2012" "Minnows"........ What a pile of patronising horse-shit
  5. Yes it would, although I'd hazard a guess that for the majority of the nineties & noughties a fair percentage of teams from the top two leagues massively overspent at some point (yourselves included) It used to be the way. Not any more.
  6. Well I don't think any clubs' owners would come out & say "we'd happily settle for 6th place" in a ten-team league. I'd be quite happy to stay up but I don't think there's much between the teams outwith Hibs, Falkirk & yourselves & given that 2 out of those 3 have new management teams, I bet AJ & the board secretly harbour ambitions of the play-offs. I heard that Leishman interview & I'm fairly certain he said we have a top 6 set-up in place, which is arguable if he was talking about the stadium etc. I'd agree with you & stats would support it - in my time supporting the Pars (30-odd years) we've never been an established anything, apart from a fair size chunk of the noughties which was all built on sand of course...........
  7. Yes I believe so. If you read Ross McArthurs' end of season report on our website I have complete and utter faith in the people in charge of my club. That's not to say their decisions can't be questioned but I know they're made with the long term stability of our club at heart. We've even made a small profit, even whilst playing in the third tier of Scottish football.
  8. Missing the point mate but just a light-hearted reply to one of your own having a pop at our old habit of spending money we don't have. Oh and posting on a fans football forum does not equal obsession. Look it up in the dictionary....;o)
  9. Still got local businessmen paying wages the club couldn't otherwise afford? What could possibly go wrong with that I wonder?
  10. The over-reaction by some of the Raith fans on here is laughable. Nothing like giving someone a chance eh? Also, the notion that the board would deliberately appoint a sub-standard manager as some sort of "GIRUY" gesture to stay-away fans is ridiculous. Do you really think the BOD consult P&B over who to appoint? This is like .net at its worst.
  11. You really do come across as an absolute cocksocket.
  12. What will the Cowden fans gurn about now the tins have been withdrawn? http://dafc.info/forum/read.php?f=1&i=1553356&t=1553356
  13. In other news, Raith have never ever been in debt or owed anyone money or had their neighbours turn up for a much-needed fund raising game to help them out the klartz. Never. Not once. None of this happened.
  14. Why are you bothered? It's only some tit with f**k all else to do.
