I wonder what our options are and what the best strategy for loaning out Teto would be.
We could loan him straight back to TS Galaxy, although depending on what the Home Office didn't like the first time around is it likely to be any different if he spends another 6 months there? Aus/NZ maybe? If we've rejected the work permit, are an other European countries likely to say yes?

Given him saying on sportscene that he hated our pitch i can't see it. God bless our plastic pitch.
Life with plastic, it's fantastic.
No way would he have said what he did on Sportscene even if there was a 10% chance of him coming here.

Most of the time I think people are overreacting to our style of play, but today we were absolutely guilty of the sneaky 'slow things down, hoofball, agression at the right time dark arts' pish that we've been accused of for the last 8 seasons.
And I fucking love it.

Every so often you see an insane choice in a Martindale lineup and think 'Well it's just the way he does things and it's worked out before'
There are 5 nuts calls in here. Guthrie over Anderson? Why is Kelly not starting? Luiyi has barely played in preseason, surely Parkes/Nottingham/Boyes would be a better call for LCB? Brandon, while looking good in preseason, hasn't played 90 minutes for us... ever? Penrice?!?
This has St Mirren '3-0 down by half time' vibes.
Well, shows how little I know. Defensively, we were outstanding. Aberdeen have a genuinely quality attack and they didn't even have a shot on target. Guthrie had a great game, Luiyi had a great game. Brandon looked both excellent and horrific in equal measure.
Play like that this season and we'll be nowhere near relegation.

Dan McKay on loan to Livi - we'll take it as we're a little light up top but has he ever shown anything in a Hibs jersey?

Interesting signing. Not convinced he's of the quality needed to push us into the top 6, but has a little experience at this level and is pretty versatile. Should do alright.
Another demonstration that Bahamboula's not rated by Davie any more

We've had a decent enough if not outstanding preseason. Not really sure how Aberdeen are looking, but their signings look quality?
Can't see past a narrow defeat here. 2-1 Aberdeen.

I don't think we offer PPV but there will be a 'stream' available on the usual sites I'd imagine.
There's nothing showing on upcoming events for our PPV serviceHave there been streams available for the other games in this competition? I went hunting and couldn't find any last week

For me this was worse than the ICT cup loss. You can almost accept a team in a lower league raising there game and getting a freak result. And despite the performance against ICT being worse than this game Dundee Utd were completely in the dumps after the early season clusterfuck of bad performances and sackings and yet we lost to them.
I remember Fletcher playing a blinder in this game and thinking that if they could keep him fit then there was no way they were going down. And that Guthrie looked like a great signing, did he not almost score a backheel at one point in this game?

Last year too many left backs, this year too many centre backs. It worked last year so I can't be too scathing, but it looks insane from the outside.

Bit of an odd one. We have Boyes, Obileye, Parkes, Devlin, De Lucas & Kelly who can already play CB, we don't need another. Who's on the way out?

There was obv history between him and Deuchar, maybe from Falkirk times, as Kenny tweeted that'll be his last game for Livi then, when Hughes was announced as our manager.
At Livi he hated flair players, that would dribble past opposition players and run with the ball, Bobby Barr and Dylan Easton both did that. He shackled Scougall though, moving him back to a DM, to bring the ball out of defence, because none of our CB's were capable of doing so, without losing the ball and ending with us conceding goals. Dunfermline away was the last straw for our fans, where Pars strikers stayed up the pitch waiting on our keeper rolling the ball out to a CB, then pressing them and winning possession, knocking 4 goals in against us. If our keeper hadn't kept on rolling the ball out, even when it was so obvious we'd get pressed and mugged every time, Hughes would've sent him to Coventry (or East Fife on loan, as he did Barr).
Bobby Barr's crime was to take players on and score 2 goals against Falkirk in an away game, which we won, he ignored Barr running over to celebrate his goal, and looked raging at him, Barr said he got told not to bother coming in for training, he was done at Livi. Ostracized for running with the ball, and not playing tippy tappy football.
Came across as a big galoot that would bully his players, and punt any that stood up to him.
That Dunfermline game sticks in my mind as being one of the most insane experiences I've ever had at the football. The keeper and defenders had clearly been told 'Under no circumstances are you to play a long ball', and they were terrified of playing any pass over 15 yards. This blatantly obvious tactic had an equally obvious weakness, in that you can surround the ball and press a lot harder if you know exactly what your opponent is going to do.
IIRC, and it was a long time ago so I might be mixing up games here, at 4-0 the keeper did punt it at one point, to cheers from the crowd, and a bollocking from Yogi. One of the few times in a football stadium that I genuinely believed that I knew football more than the manager did.
I remember being impressed with him at his starting press conferences as well. Talking about how football was a full time job, and that even if players weren't out on the pitch throughout that time then they'd be doing tactical work in classrooms instead. Which sounds great on the surface, but when the tactics being pushed are 'even if someones being marked out of the game you must pass to them', then it's not a surprise he's hated. One of the shittest Livi managers of all time, only bested by Lambert & Preston IMO

Living in Cambridge, I've seen him a few times over the last couple of seasons. Surprised he's made the move to Perth, I would have expected him to find a bigger club. He's been one of the better keepers in League 1 over the last couple of seasons. Decent signing for you IMO

Too many people backing Livi to have a good season, when I reckon this'll be our toughest in the top flight.
Celtic
Rangers
Aberdeen/Hearts
Hibs
Motherwell
St Mirren
Killie
Livi
County
Dundee
St Johnstone
This will inevitably change when St Johnstone eventually decide to sign someone

Just about to post the same thing. Can't find anything on them. Closest I got was https://www.empteezy.co.uk/ who are based in Houston Industrial Estate.
Empteezy have sponsored the club in various guises in the past, so I expected it was them. Maybe a new product that they haven't officially launched yet? Seems crazy to spend money sponsoring a football club and not even having your website up in time however

Away kit looks pretty good. No idea what's going on with the sponsor though, google's showing nothing

Martindale's not an idiot. He knows that we've looked weak up top for almost 18 months now, and that the club is in dire need of cash. Despite our lack of goal scoring strikers, if we can sell Nouble & Anderson for 750k+ combined to ease our financial difficulties then it's a sensible decision. I don't doubt our ability to find suitable replacements for less.

Yeah, Steve Kean knows the Scottish game pretty well, he's knows what he's getting. Whether Bruce wants to go is another story.
On second thoughts we might not be completely fucked without him. He's been under utilised over the last couple of seasons, due to injury/diabetes/the whims of Martindale, and we've gone through large portions of the last 2 seasons without him and survived absolutely fine. He's clearly not considered as undroppable, there's no reason why we couldn't replace him with someone who fits Davie's philosophy better.
Did I sound convincing?

If we sold Anderson we'd be half way to relegation which, if that transpired, would cost multiple times more than any current fee we'd get for him. He won't be sold. He's gone above and beyond with how he's connected with the fans here too.
10 minutes ago, I'd have agreed with you

I'm feeling more confident about this game than I have for any game against Rangers in the past few years.
4-0 Rangers.
