not too confident with him coming for high balls either, has pulled off a few good saves though but is still developing.

Got to disagree with this, I think he's the best keeper we've had coming for high balls since we've been back in the Premiership.

Player of the Season - Montano. His run of scoring winners from left back was outstanding. He's dropped a little in recent weeks because of injury but he's been phenomenal when fully fit. Him and Nouble are the best left-hand side of any side in the league outside of the OF, and it's not even close.

Best Signing - George. Slow start, but I really like him, he's the best shot stopper and cross taker we've had for a while. Distribution is a bit dodgy, and his positioning can be a little off (being lobbed against Dundee Utd comes to mind), but he's learning and has had a really promising start.

Top Result - Point at Ibrox, or beating Hearts. After the first 10 minutes we were dominant that day, which was great to see against a decent side.

Predictions - 6th. We're not clinical enough yet, and Hearts/Aberdeen/Hibs will sort their shit out and finish above us I reckon.

I’ve watched streams from dozens of clubs and while it’s inevitable that there is some form of bias,I’ve honestly never heard such a shit show as I listened to today.Gordon Smith and his side kick were an absolute fkn joke,it was glorious to witness though.

Hahaha wtf was that dribbling moron Gordon Smith, ex head of the SFA? o_0

  3. Hahaha fucking hell, you make a couple of reasonable points and then throw it all in the bin with "I'd bE AshAMed if My LocAL AreA..." 😂

Yes the history of Livi has some shady shit in it. Meadowbank died because Bill Hunter thought he could make money by killing it. Would I support it now? No. Do I feel bad for supporting what is now my local club? Also no. Is the club referring to the Meadowbank times as the same club but not the Ferranti times a bit weird? Yes.

I don't expect to see it, but I do think Greg Taylor has a lot of the necessary attributes to play the Tierney role. Maybe just a wee bit small, but Tierney's not exactly massive himself.

Playing Taylor at CB and getting humped because of it would be a 4-6-0 style disaster that would destroy all of the goodwill Clarke has built up with the supporters.

We're really struggling at CB, but who else could we draft in? Halkett would have been likely to get a call up if he was fit, but I'm struggling to see who else.

  5. Montano was absolutely class. I was one of his bigger critics last season, but he's absolutely pulled it out the bag this year. MOTM by a mile.

Saying that, massive credit to Obileye as well, he stepped up in the absence of Fitz.

Guthrie looks like he'll be a great signing. Nice flick, and we looked better up top when he came on. Did a power of running.

Why the f**k was Penrice on the right wing? He did ok, but we were clearly a much better team when Bahamboula came on.

Fucking delighted, could easily have lost this and next week and then we're on a 5 loss streak. Well deserved win.

  6. Well that was frustrating. You could see what was wrong from miles away. General thoughts:

    - Fletcher was the best player on the park by an absolute mile. We were being outworked by him alone for a while.

    - We reeeaaalllly rely on Fitz. If he gets sold/injured/suspended, we're in trouble. The second goal in particular was a giant gaping hole that wouldn't have existed if he was playing.

    - First half our only attacking outlet was to lump the ball into the box, and we didn't win a single header in there. Once we brought on Guthrie, things changed. Not because Guthrie was great, but because we moved Nouble out wide and him and Bahamboula were able to run at them and cause some damage.

    - Was Ayo offside for his goal? Didn't look it from where I was, but admittedly I didn't have the best angle. On another day he could have been sent off as well, he clattered the keeper at one point and I have no idea why the ref ignored it.

    - There were 4-5 times tonight where Devlin picked the ball up and tried to inject some pace into the game, only for Shinnie or Omeonga to double back and let United get back into shape. Then we'd hoof it to their centre backs, and the same thing happens.

    - Ah well. Proper game of two halfs, innit. United could have been 4 up at half time and we couldn't have had too many complaints. If we'd won it in the second then there couldn't have been complaints about that either.

    - f**k me Eriksson is shit. No idea why we didn't test him out more

  7. Well deserved, we’ve been shite.

Wouldn’t have been surprised to see Isma taken off after half an hour, but he’s come on to more of a game.

Maybe in the second half we might try something other than hoofing the ball into their box on a set piece and losing every single header.

  8. Yeah we've been shocking at Fir Park. A win here, giving us 9 points out of 12 with the only loss being the narrow loss to Rangers, would put us in a stunning spot at this point in the season. Particularly when we haven't even played any of the 'weaker' teams yet.

Having said that, no way it's happening. Fir Park is a nightmare place for us. Fitz to get sent off after 10 minutes in what will turn out to be his final appearance with us and a 4-0 defeat.
