After the fight last night Farooq trainer said Mcgregor fight will happen when the time is right. So I don't imagine that'll be next I didn’t hear that. My feeling is if they don’t fight each other next then Kash will bypass McGregor. Might not be a bad thing for either of them tbh.

No it’s a gym in Johnstone he trains at. Lee McGregor put a thing on his Instagram about Farooq earlier and I’ve heard the teams have been talking to make the fight. I’m hoping the fight is on the undercard of Taylor’s semi final, and that Farooq flys under the radar of the bookies as there is money to be made there. I like McGregor aswell but just cannot see Kash losing at this level yet, brilliant to watch him in the gym.

I got the train back from Central a few weeks ago and a guy was sitting eating a KFC bucket. I actually admired the confidence of someone that can sit having greasy chicken skin run down their face and not care who’s watching.

The 2 policemen who interrogated Dassey at start must surely be feeling some heat. No sane person can watch that and say that they acted by the book. They fed him most of the details of the murder then waited it out until he agreed with them.

The ‘Talking Dead’ programme on after TWD is really starting to annoy me, especially when one of the directors/producers are on. It’s as if they have started to believe their own hype and they sit patting each other on the back over how amazing a show they have created. Maybe they are unaware of how the last couple of seasons have been received by the viewers.

Good luck to Edinburgh City. I see Connahs Quay are top of the Welsh league at the minute so would be a great scalp. Was at the St. Mirren v New Saints game a couple of years ago and the Welsh team played some decent stuff, think they were winning at half time before St Mirren won 4-1

Anyone at the Emirates for the boxing tonight ? The boy Kash Farooq trains in the same gym as me and he defended his British title quite easily, winning on points. Hopefully he takes a step up now would be good to see him getting a fight on a good undercard on TV, possibly Lee McGregor on a Taylor undercard. Would put my mortgage on Kash winning that.

I’m sure it was mentioned by one of the Sauerland brothers before the Postol fight, that the winner of that would be invited into the Super Series. Postol was on the undercard and also a reserve incase any of the fighters pulled out.

Was a bit worried that Martin was coming into this fight quite unknown and with a perfect record but Taylor absolutely outclassed him from the first bell. Some fighter we have here to bring big fights to Scotland. I met Taylor at the Saunders fight in Paisley a couple years ago and he was brand new, told him at the time he was the Scottish Lomachenko.

Was out last night and was surprised to see Ritson got beat. He’s obviously a good fighter, but if you listened to the Matchroom hype job you would think he would be winning world titles in a couple of fights time. Commentators were saying in the first round it would just be good if Ritson got some rounds in, completely disregarding his opponent. Anyone know the what the bookies odds were for Ritson?

Well at least they managed to fix that. Not been a good couple of months for the reputation of Hitachi. It’s rumoured the problems on the new trains are more serious than what has been revealed in the media.

The new Scotrail 385 trains have been taken out of service due to a problem with the brakes. Will be some crowded trains between Queen Street and Edinburgh for the next few weeks.

Are both Maggie and Rick leaving the show during this season? They really should try and wrap this up soon but it’s not going to happen. To think that I sat and rattled through the first 4 seasons in about a week a few years ago. Will give this season a chance but don’t have high hopes.

Michael Palins North Korea programme was very good. I’ve watched a lot of videos of people documenting their trips to North Korea on YouTube, and always end up infatuated by them. Palins programme showed the civilians in a slightly different light; more educated, more freedoms etc. although he did mention in the programme he was being followed by 6 officials who permitted what could be filmed and what couldn’t. I would love to go on one of these tours of Pyeongchang to see the country for myself, it’s a fascinating place.

After seeing the replays I think it was the body shot that ended Groves. The way he recovered after being wobbled in the 3rd round I think was unreal. His legs were all over the place but a few seconds later his head was back in it and he was throwing punches with power. If Groves does chuck it after this he’s had a good career, always enjoyed his fights and he seems like a good guy.

My friend played with Ardeer Thistle about 6 years ago and I used to go with him to most of the games. Watched him at this ground and a good few others. Away to Maybole was an experience, reminded me of the village from League of Gentlemen.

I actually seeth every time I remember Pat Bonner gets paid to talk about football. I know he’s very much Celtic minded but he has a single figure IQ and it’s blatantly obvious he has no intention in doing any sort of research on the teams he’s paid to talk about. It’s been said on here a million times but BBC’s full football output is just jobs for the boys, they don’t care about putting out a good product as long as their out-of-work pal is taking a wage.

Apparently she had just finished her shift as a police officer. I believe her mug shot picture that’s been released was taken 3 days after the shooting, she wasn’t arrested straight away. She has been charged with manslaughter but the prosecutors are taking it to a grand jury and pushing for a murder charge.

It’s bananas. I seen that story referenced on twitter earlier on and assumed there must be more to the story and went searching. But it is exactly as I wrote above, how can these trigger happy police still be allowed to work. I’m not even sure this particular shooting is a race issue I think this was just an idiot policewoman with easy access to a gun.
