Just noticed that the Dortmund game that I am going to has been moved to the Friday night 14th October. This has freed up our Saturday and we're looking to try and take in the Monchengladbach v Hamburg game. Have looked on Borussia's official page but doesn't seem to have that game listed for some reason. As a surprise to my friend I'm going to try and get some sort of VIP/Hospitality tickets for this game if possible. Would I be best just contacting the club direct or is there anywhere online that I would be able to get these from.

Well I managed to get 4 but going by Matchrooms Twitter feed I got lucky. Loads of people saying the site froze at 12 o clock and wouldn't let them in. Was sold out for 12.02.

Got Fight Pass so I'm hoping I will be able to get tickets tomorrow. Heard some not so good stories about the site they use and its reliability though.

Do you think you will be guaranteed a ticket if you have the Fight Pass on Matchroom site ?

I had just typed Bochum fixtures in to google and it said that game was on the 14th. No worries will keep an eye on the scheduling and hope it's on the Friday.

One other question if anybody would be kind enough to answer. The tickets I have bought from Viagogo have no stand allocated to them, my confirmation email just says Home Standing. Is the only standing area in the stadium in the South Stand or is there another smaller standing area in the North Stand?

Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. Will go ahead and book on Viagogo just now, just grudge paying the added on fees that these sort of companies charge. How shite is Dortmund? Worth paying €200 to cancel? To be honest as long as there is enough bars then the company will be good enough that I don't imagine we will have a shite time.

Just booked flights and hotel for the weekend of 15th October for the Dortmund v Hertha game. Flying out on the Thursday and back on the Sunday. Couple of questions...what is the likelihood of this match being moved to the Sunday? There is no Champs League the previous week so my thinking was that it was pretty safe for it not to be moved. Also, we arrive in Düsseldorf at 20.15 local time and are staying in Dortmund city centre. I take it that it's easy enough to get the train straight in to Dortmund quite quickly? And lastly I see that the tickets aren't available on the Dortmund website yet... Am I better to wait until they appear on the official site and try and get a ticket in the big South terrace, if they even appear on there. There is tickets on Viagogo for £75 each which I thought was a bit steep. Apologies for all the questions I'm booking for a friends 30th and it's the first time I've tried to plan a football trip abroad.

Wouldn't Wales be in this picture then? That's what I thought at first aswell but there would be more illuminated areas for Manchester, Liverpool etc. Not just one large area which is why I thought it was Paris.

Was looking through Tim Peake's pictures from the International Space Station there and this one appeared. The description of it says something about how the UK and Ireland are instantly recognisable. Can anyone tell me what part of the U.K. or Irish coast line this is as it is starting to annoy me that I don't know. Edit - It may be UK on the left and the northern coast of France on the right. However I would have expected London to be far more illuminated than it shows in this picture. The built up area on the right would be Paris.

It's as simple as backing high and laying low. With horse racing it's all about short term price movements, reading what's happening between all the runners and placing your bets in the market accordingly. Would strongly recommend watching a guy called Caan Berry, he has loads of videos on YouTube and explains everything much better than I could. Also Bet Angels YouTube channel is great aswell. With the football I use a few different strategies. A simple one to start with is called Lay the Draw (again, loads of YouTube videos about this). Where you lay the draw prior to the game and close your position once a goal has been scored and the odds on the draw have increased. Basically if you lay the draw at 3.5 and a goal is scored after 10 minutes and the back price is now 6.5 you can close your position guaranteeing a profit across all outcomes. Need to pick your games carefully for this as if an outsider scores first it can go against you and the odds on the draw would actually decrease.

I do a bit of pre race horse racing trading aswell as the over/unders market on the football and a couple of tennis strategies. I was a member of the Betfair trading community but don't think it's worth the money tbh. They have some good data for tennis strategies but that's about all I got from it. There is loads of stuff out there for trading for free. YouTube vids etc. If you were really looking to get into it I would advise downloading one of the trading software programmes like Bet Angel or Geekstoy who have I think 1 month free trials and see if you like it.

Off for a weekend at Crail in a couple of weeks and haven't played for around 6 months. Looking forward to it as I have heard it is 2 good courses, but would like to have had a bit more practice.

Second episode is, in my opinion, the best. The bit where he is talking about metaphors and the film Moonraker was brilliant.

Thanks to this bridge closure I am getting laid off for three weeks before Christmas because Scotrail have taken all the trains that we were working on out of our depot.
