  1. 'In off the red' and 'mines a pint' are sure to go down well.
  2. I was sitting in a cubicle in work the other day, laughing out loud at the quotes on the first couple of pages on this thread.
  3. Someone should do an Alan Partridge quiz, with top prize being a superficially damaged Chocolate Orange.
  4. Golly, an alien judge. Btw, is the Partridge film commom knowledge and that has why no-one has responded to the link, or is it as I said a page back, THE BIGGEST NEWS EVER.
  5. 111 round Ralston yesterday off the back tees, and in quite tough conditions. Had 2 pars and a birdie which I was pleased with.
  6. Biggest news EVER. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-18592044
  7. This isn't an answer to your question, but where did you buy your tickets from? Been having a look around the web but only seen unofficial websites selling them through a 3rd party. Are these sites safe, and is there a cheaper way to buy tickets?
  8. Thought the last episode of Mid Morning Matters was the best of the series last night. Classic Partridge.
  9. Thanks mate appreciated. It's very annoying as you can imagine. Thinking ive hit a decent drive only gor it to die right every time. With regards to club fittings, how useful would this be to a mid 20s handicap golfer?
  10. Just started using a Ping G5 Driver, after having to get rid of my Cobra one as it's banned. However, I couldn't hit the thing straight for love nor money. I was connecting with the ball beautifully, but every shot off the tee was going way way way right. Any ideas how to stop this? Grip, stance, tempo?
  11. All joking aside, one of the funniest things I've ever seen is when Alan takes Sonia to meet Bono, and eventually turns up at some sort of castle tourist attraction. 'Well these dogs are like horses, and they will be on you before Bono can whistle them to stop. Theyre the dogs the Nazis used to chase Steve McQueen.'
  12. You can stop laughing or I'll take down your particulars.
  13. Yeah I remember you. You once caned me for having a chalk penis drawn on my back. Ask yourself 2 questions, how and why. Im not driving a Mini Metro Lynne. Lynne - Its not a Mini Metro, it's an MG. Alan - They've rebadged it you fool. Certainly enough room to swing a tiger in here isn't there? Wouldn't want to though - unless it'd been stunned. Even then it's going to weigh the best part of a tonne. Not a quote but when he shows Lynne the mug Sonia bought him, with a picture of him on one side and a cat on the other is pure genius.
  14. Yknow since I bought a Lexus it's amazing the amount of other Lexi, thats plural, I've seen around.
  15. That was the best fry up I've had since Gary Wilmot's wedding.
  16. The bit in the hotel where he takes apart his Corby trouser press because he's bored has me pishing myself every time. 'Im one of the anti-cancer set, were a dying breed. Well not us, you infact. I dont know if you have cancer, but if you do, please, take the rest of the day off' The episode where he gets investigated by the HMRC is easily the best episode.
  17. It is used in Horse Racing papers/racecards to note the tipsters best bet for the day.
  18. The biggest helmets are the c***s that go on holiday and update 5 times a day, telling everyone how good a time they're having. If it was that good a holiday you wouldnt have time to update constantly.
  19. 8.15 Ayr. Daring Dream. Was given it on Wednesday. Massive shout.
  20. II have gave up trying to read this thread now. Just dipping in and out every 30 pages or so. By the time I have read a page there is another 2 added :-D
  21. Played a round at Ralston today. Conditions werent great but I played pretty well. Hit the pin on a par 3 and left it 2 inches from the hole. First ever birdie on a par 3 but if the ball was going slightly slower could have been so much better.
  22. Asked this in the Quick Question thread yesterday, but probably better to ask here. I have booked up with a couple of mates to go to Torrevieja for a week in a couple of months and I was wondering if it was common for there to be places to hire golfing equipment when you are out there?
  23. When golfing in Spain, is it common for there to be places to hire out golf clubs etc. ?
  24. Does anyone know of any Books, online documents etc. for help with the Theory Test. I know its supposed to be a bit of a canter, just looking for some information on what is going to be in it, then I can plan around that using the Highway Code pdf.
