Strictly speaking, the Universe has been around forever, because time was created in the same instant. Regarding the matter thing: you're not far off. Atoms, from which we are all made, are 99.999..% nothing. Everything is held in place by forces. You never truly touch anything either, only feel the electrostatic forces repelling everything. Definitely mine. Near financial collapse, total drama right the way throughout, and we ended up winning the treble (First Division, B+Q Cup, Reserve League East) by scoring loads of goals with a tremendously talented team. Also it was my final year at Uni so I mixed sweating for the whole period the season covered from Sundays to Fridays over arcane treatises on quantum electrodynamics and spherical astronomical trigonometry, and getting the train through to Brockville or Kilbowie or Broomfield on a Saturday for a few pints and a bit jump about at the game. One of the best years of my life.

Only 1 cup final - the Challenge Cup was the next season.

I'm a Mastodon fan since March of the Fire Ants appeared on a Relapse sampler long enough ago. Somehow managed to miss them every time since then, so I'm well up for that. Also, Opeth and Enslaved in November. Take my money, dammit!!

Really? I thought last year was deadly dull; barring a very small sprinkling of top notch performances, it was largely woeful to forgettable. Edited to add: I have literally no idea how such an inconsistent side managed to finish 2nd. Morton and DU completely gave up the ghost for us. And we shat it. Again.

It promises more of the same. Yawn. While I admit the previous year was tremendous fun against the Glasgow and Edinburgh 'behemoths', last season's actual entertainment value was very limited, and I have very limited faith that we have got the balls frankly to go one better.

I mind the berrz paraded to Hampden before their club went bust. How did that go lads? It must have saved the club aye? Given all this good news "for the club" and what not we've been getting these days. Odd how all these financial shenanigans have an impact on an ethereal entity that has no legal status. It just floats around going "wooooOOOOOooo we are super rangers" and throwing beer cans in people's gardens.

As I said a few days ago, changing family circumstances, lack of folk to go to games with, general fed-up-ness with endless seasons plugging away in the second tier and our perennial habit of filling our nappies on the big occasion make it pretty unlikely I will renew. As I said previously, I only generally make 8-10 games a season, I'll probably still make a similar sort of number this year but just PATG. Maybe I just need a break for a bit. As for what would make me renew? Difficult to say; a couple of signings with real x-factor. I knew we were going to be great to watch in 90/91, 93/94, 02/03 and 04/05. Sounds like I'm one of those you're referring to. Although I'm more interested than signings than singing. And I've had a ST for donkey's years now. And I'm always tactful. (Although I presume you mean changed tack; it's a sailing term.)

I had similar a couple of years ago - two lads built a summerhouse in our back garden in about 3 hours on a boiling hot day. Never took anything other than a couple of glasses of water to drink. The rate at which they raised a voluminous erection in my back garden was something to behold tbh.
