Think it’s only fair that I make clear why I deleted my post. Whilst I’ve got zero time for his ranting etc (the incident at Stenny and countless examples of him going at it in our own home dressing room, so loud you can hear it in the stand), he’s proven on other occasions that he gets it right. I’m thinking of the help he gave Max Stryjeck, and the compassion with which he dealt with Dan Barden. I have major misgivings over the hold he has on our club and, in all honesty, he’s never really won me over due to his past. That’s just me though, and I’m aware that it’s probably an unpopular opinion. Either way, to call him nothing but a bully was wrong.

Nonsensical line up from the manager, dreadful performance over the ninety minutes, Levein standing there all game with a face that just screams “You seem upset” as his team snatch the points late on, leading to outrage behind the home dug out and the manager wanting to go battling with someone. It’s what Santa would have wanted.

Something really needs to made clear here. It was not Livingston FC's job to build the case. It's the job of their legal rep to do that. Livingston could hand their legal team an absolute pig in a poke when it comes to vouching, it's the job of the legal team to either a) build a coherent case from it, or b) tell their client that they can't help. Lots about what's been going on at the club worries me, but their use of a two bit criminal defence lawyer for something so serious is nothing short of baffling.

What is ringing true for me is that he seems to think, like I do, that you seem to think every post you make on here is like you're some kind of Julian Assange figure, and EVERYONE must be frantic upon reading your "revelations". I, and others, said as soon as McIlvogue's name was mentioned that there was nothing in his background which suggested he had anything LIKE the money needed to clear a seasons losses. I, and others, read EXACTLY the same link as everyone else containing the judgement of Lord Braid, and have severe misgivings about the financial state of the club. Just because we don't post it on here ad infinitum, or mock people when we don't get a response, doesn't mean that we're not concerned.

I’ve a question for you. I’m one of the many who have heard all the stories. I may believe some of them, whilst I’m sure that some are utter nonsense. Tell me though - in your opinion, what do I do? You and Roger have spent the last few weeks, at least, tearing into those in charge at the club and making some pretty disparaging comments re the same people. When you’ve been asked before, the response has been along the lines of “folk should listen more, take their fingers out their ears.” Is that it? Is that all you have?

They're not stories. You only need to read the Court of Session judgement at the end of October, where his involvement in negotiations relating to Nixon/Hogarth money is detailed. Granted it's from 2016, but the fact that he was so close to that type of thing is startling. And the notion that he doesn't get involved at that level now, to me, is fanciful. Here's the thing for me. I bet you that the vast majority of the Livi support are well versed in the rumours of Martindale's involvement at Livi, and indeed, outwith Livi. These "stories" aren't just flying around now, they've been in the wind for years.
