  1. Switch the game to Cliftonhill. We haven't had a match called off for waterlogging for decades.
  2. Nope. Bonnyrigg have declined the invitation to move it.
  3. A very good performance from Rovers last night. At last a win at home!
  4. Absolutely thoroughly deserved win for East Fife: Rovers were terrible, and we were lucky it was only 0-1. Thanks also to the East Fife directors and Chairman, who were great company: gentlemen all, and we had a few beers and good chat after the game. I thought the Fife 7 and 11 were both excellent; but , blimey, my team was mince!!! Oh well!
  5. Nothing can stop the Rovers' goal machine. Next!!!
  6. Yeah well, perhaps. But Forfar are hardly miles ahead, are they? You have a trip to Cliftonhill in a few weeks of course. Like I said, 3rd to 10th, could be anyone with 5 points of a difference or so.
  7. Also worth noting that the crowd was 812: way above any other team in the division. [Crowd at first Bonnyrigg v Rovers was over 1000] Well over 100 from Coatbridge, which is not bad at all. Any team from 3rd to 10th could finish bottom in this ultra-tight league.
  8. Agreed: great ground, and I thoroughly enjoyed walking round and chatting to several of the locals about football stuff. Brilliant social club; equally jealous of that. Some of the comments on here are beyond arrogant to say the least.
  9. I thought we would end up winning this match. It was a travesty to come away with nothing from three matches we really should have won. Oh well; good to get off the mark at last. And what a super attendance: 1057! Bonnyrigg are a very welcome addition to the league fir sure.
  10. The problem with the Lowland League is the introduction of 'B' teams. This makes it a 'non league' in every sense of the word. Worthless with Rangers/Celtic etc., etc.
  11. Well, 'Ambitious Stenhousemuir' are bottom of the league. Expect a sacking by Monday.
  12. Good result for Rovers, but not at all a surprise. We should have taken points from all of the first three matches, so it looks like this will be quite a tight league.
  13. Most interesting: 'Ambitious Kelty Hearts defeated with contemptuous ease by the 'favourites for relegation from league 2'. How dare you, lowly Albion Rovers!!! [Yaaassss!!!]
  14. Oh my; Rovers really should just forfeit all their fixtures with these predictions from the 'ambitious teams' in League 2...
  15. 7 points. Oh my, we finished 8th! 7 points. 'Ambitious Stirling Albion'.
  16. The Albion Rovers team which took 7 points off Stirling Albion? That Albion Rovers?
  17. Pyramid with 'guest teams'. Lowland League is a joke.
  18. A bit harsh! Wasn't that bad: you should have seen our 0-0 draw with Elgin!!
  19. Not Clyde please. How ghastly. Dumbarton would be more than welcome in League 2!!
  20. Hamilton was docked several points when that club failed to fulfill a fixture: a precedent, perhaps? This is a very boring topic, but the full-time club seem to be (now) enjoying life in the third division, with all these victories against part-time teams from the 'lower orders'. They will even have to come back to Cliftonhill: how ghastly!
