  1. You'll be relieved to hear that we're currently having a storm with gale force winds. Hurry back x
  2. It's pretty clear what point he's trying to make, and he made it well. The chief exec may well have been appointed by Brabco, but Brabco, by the chairman's own admission, have contributed nothing, not a penny, to DFC. Therefore, as OKIII points out, the work of the people who run the club day to day, the chief exec, the chairman, the board, the manager, coaches and players are to be credited with the relative current success we are enjoying. At most you could say that Brabco deserve credit for appointing a steward under whom we have enjoyed a good period.
  3. We already know they don't give a f**k about us. They see DFC as an inconvenience sitting atop a goldmine, nothing more.
  4. Still though, nice to know that our beloved overlords are such good business people. That's highly reassuring as we head on down the road with them towards a multi million pound stadium move. I wonder if Alan Jardine has met the rest of them yet? *starts holding breath*
  5. I'd be amazed if there was ever much money in their sponsorship deal. Wasn't it a last minute thing as we hadn't looked for a sponsor or something like that? Probably just paid for the strips and the cost of the signage and hoardings.
  6. BB company deetz here: Formed 2007, changed name to Bet Butler in 09.
  7. It's admittedly hard to decipher from that attrocious website article, but it wasn't Bet Butler whose problems started in 06, in fact I don't even think they were formed then; it was Farepak. BB's problems will have started within the recent past, say a year or so presumably.
  8. I've been in loads of bands and used to do my own singer/songwriter stuff, but haven't bothered my arse for years now. Don't think I've held an instrument (stop giggling at the back) for about two years now. Recently had to move a bunch of equipment from storage into my cellar, I've got umpteen guitars of various types, drum kit, bass, piano, keyboard, several amps, mixing deck, dj decks and equipment, faders, pedals, mic and various other stuff, even a cassette based multi track recorder, as obsolete a thing as one could possibly find nowadays. I really should sell it off and free up some space / cash.
  9. He's posted on Facebook and Twitter recently, but only very sparingly.
  10. That reads like it was written by someone for whom English isn't their first language.
  11. If Granny Danger was a teacher he'd offer some cheeky 15 year old a square go and then get a chair round his coupon. It'd be brilliant.
  12. Breaking Decency who posts on here sometimes does some great stuff and releases his own and others through his label, Sema4Recordings. I'd recommend his Soundcloud.
  13. Get the players to wear headlamps, it'll be well funny.
  14. I just posed that same question on Twitter funnily enough. An odd set up.
  15. They look like they've been made out of a variety of different tubs of Play-Doh.
  16. I would, yeah. In fact, I'd jail anyone who claims to support them.
  17. My bird's just had Mama Mia on the telly. Thankfully I only saw the last few minutes, but f**k me it was like the cinematic equivalent of being water boarded. Oh, and the lass also isn't feeling well, so the sitter's been cancelled and we're no longer going out tonight. I'm away to get pished.
  18. Hedgecutter, I'm looking for a fluffer. Negotiable rates of pay.
