  1. I support Dumbarton and Kilmarnock. I'm basically a masochist.
  2. All tattoos hurt to some extent. I've got 16 in various places. Wrists are nippy. Shoulder blades and spine were nippy. Elbow was nippy. Generally I find the fleshier the area, the less they hurt. Generally it's a hot, jaggy feeling. They're done with reciprocating needles being dragged across your skin, so they're never going to be painless.
  3. Just booked the Dunblane Hilton for this weekend. It'll be getting rinsed. Going to see if I can fit a whole mattress in the motor.
  4. I must have about 40 screwfix pencils in the van. Used to just take them by the fistful. They've now switched to touch pad ordering screens. Toolstation pens are shite, they always leak red ink into my workwear pockets.
  5. Every hotel, bnb, air bnb and the like gets stripped of all tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, toilet roll, pens, pads etc. It's the rules. I then pour each individual sachet into the home coffee, tea and sugar jars. I do work for several chains of air bnb types, so routinely help myself to soaps and the like. And all bin bags go in the van as it saves on buying rubble sacks.
  6. It's fine, lads: I'll do it. You can look forward to me ruling with an iron fist. See you all next season at the Sweet Pete Arena. Vive la revolucion!
  7. At least Barcelona's makes sense in Spanish. Futbol Club de Edinburgh, less so in English.
  8. My da used to always buy those 2. As a kid I thought they looked quite fancy. @Clarko_son bought me a bovril recently. J'deteste bovril.
  9. I remember them being in the SFL 2nd Division as it was then. But that's mainly because I grew up there. They left Kilbowie Park when I was in late primary school and I'm nearly 40.
  10. Lot of money they're spending to finish ten points off the top.
  11. Former Killie player, Syme. QP also f/t these days though (and another living off of a benefactor).
  12. What player and team? They're living off the pie man's pocket though, so not exactly a sustainable one there.
  13. £50k? That's a big chunk of change for a part time team to pay out. Can't remember the last time a p/t team shelled out a lot in a transfer fee in recent years. I remember a few lower league clubs spending 4 figure sums to junior teams for players, but they tended to be 2k and the like. Morton (a full time team) paid 150k for Templeman from Brechin in the early 2000s and Hamilton, also f/t, paid 17.5k (which I believe was a jnr record) for Carrigan when they were first promoted to the then SPL. Anyone remember any sizeable part time transfer fees in relatively recent years?
  14. This thread reminds me of the old pre pyramid days when junior team fans would occasionally descend on the league two forum to say that literally any non league side were better than league Two/ 3rd Division sides. It's a kind of ingrained siege mentality in some non league fans that they're convinced that the SPFL is shite and non league is somehow superior both on and off the park.
  15. Think the useless groundsman had a hand in that also. My mate at Rangers ground staff said they all hated working with him and used to send the apprentice down to do their bit so they wouldn't have to deal with him.
  16. Loads of roundabouts though. Can't take that away from EK.
  17. Yeah he said they'd been up and done their presentation. He was saying he's looking to give them a more semi pro approach all across the board. Think he's pulling his hair out with the amount of hours it takes up running a team
  18. He literally said Bonnyrigg are the best fit to have come up, you slobbering buffoon.
  19. It's not the pyramid that's bothering anyone, it's just folk getting sick of you spamming up the thread with garbage.
  20. I was excluding them as the point was purely about Saturday league sides playing at public parks and high schools
