  1. I've managed to vote 4 times over two days using two different browsers.
  2. A c**t of the highest order, who was shouted down by everyone around him at our last home game as he droned on and on endlessly and continually proved that he has not even a basic understanding of the rules of the game.
  3. Congrats to all involved, it's been an awesome season. Thanks to Alan Adamson also for getting us up and building that squad.
  4. Clients are getting harder and harder to please. I'm not quite sure when it happened, but the past couple of years have seen a sharp increase in the number of clients who are an absolute nightmare to deal with and who are prone to throwing a strop or starting a drama at a moment's notice.
  5. He's a funny one, because regardless of where he's been deployed in the team (defensive mid, centre forward, right wing, left wing, centre midfield) I always feel more confident when his name is on the team sheet. I'd sign him up for next season in a heartbeat, a cracking talent and has stepped up from Junior football very well indeed.
  6. I wonder what Neville's next move will be. I notice that he says he wants "to play at the top level for as long as possible". Does that mean a move to another Premier League club, or a move to a foreign top league team? Or MLS?
  7. Thanks, I think... I'm pretty sure Ad Lib is a "real" Lib Dem, he's got a yellow tie and everything.
  8. That's right, because to recommend not reducing oneself to basest levels is obviously to support the Conservatives.
  9. Big Pino gets a bad rep. You throw a few pregnant women out of planes and suddenly you're the bad guy...
  10. The exact same thing happened to my home town, while I was around to witness it happening. Don't be gutted for me, son.
  11. Mandela has benefited from excellent PR. He won't be the first nor the last to use positive spin to cover a multitude of sins.
  12. A fair point. I put happy in quotes as I didn't want to guess what you were feeling. I'm not trying to paint her as innocent in the least. Read my posts, I haven't done anything of the sort.
  13. That's fine, but let's not pretend we're talking about the same thing. You're "happy" because some family members of yours lost their jobs quite a long time ago and the PM who was in charge when that happened just died. I'm not too fussed about her death really, but I am quite chuffed that another of the old guard of rampant right-wing, rich-centric, self-serving, upper class Tory minority are no longer around and I'd hope that we'll never see the like again. Cameron and his ilk may be their descendents and trace their roots back that way, but we're still in a much better position now than we were. But there's still a long way to go.
  14. Absolutely, I completely agree. But the point I'm making is that some folk are "celebrating" when they're not really sure why. There's a lot more to it than "Thatcher bad". Her death is merely the tip of the iceberg where the legacy of years of Tory governments are concerned.
  15. It really does surprise me how many kids who grew up under a Labour government and during an economic boom are suddenly delighted about the death of a PM who served 2 governments before their memory. You weren't there, you don't understand, give it a by.
  16. I've lost count of the number of youngsters on various sites hitting out with the "So if I wasn't born then I guess I can't oppose her, should I not oppose Hitler either?" line. It doesn't matter how many of you say it, it doesn't make it any more legitimate.
  17. Spot on. There's more to this than a bunch of teenagers chirping someone's name and celebrating. The name Thatcher means no more to these kids than the name Mussolini or Hitler, it's just a bogeyman they've heard of from their parents.
  18. Very much this. That's a commendable stance and one that a certain young Clyde fan could learn from.
  19. I hope you've not lost it. I misplaced a fine once, and forgot I'd even received one until the police kept constantly phoning me asking to pay it You're a troll and no one gives a f**k.
  20. I never noticed you on the day, but by the time we headed in (just before half time) I was barely able to see straight. Some suit at the main entrance kindly offered us a night in the cells, but I just gave him my trademark winning smile and "butter wouldn't melt" look and his wee heart melted.
