  1. I was working in a tenement flat in Govan today that overlooks Ibrox stadium. It was exactly as Govan as you imagine. Close full of fag ends, litter, dog shit, graffiti, puddles (inside the close...) etc. Pure Govan.
  2. Have you tried having a right good greet about it?
  3. And that's where dehumanising gets us. It's all fun and games retweeting and donating money to "fun" activities like sending bombs, and the reality is real people having their heads cut off, or hands tied behind their backs and shot. War isn’t a game, nor a spectator sport.
  4. "I'll pass on the message to my elderly mum whom I live with"
  5. I only discovered he had blocked me when BBPF posted it on here. I genuinely can't even remember posting on that group. Guy's a moon howler whose next winch will be his first.
  6. A crucial difference; he's actively involved in a war, whether he's a frontline infantryman or a mechanic. Now, compare that with a random Internet user from Scotland (for example) paying actual money from their actual bank account to sponsor a hateful message on an explosive that will be launched (with a lovely souvenir photo) to kill other humans they've never met. That's wrong from every angle.
  7. Saw a Stirling fan in the carpark saying to some lads he's been at every postponed fixture.
  8. I saw City Bayern support Scorpions at Castle Donnington in 1991.
  9. He's also a top bloke. FS what have I done? I've only just got back in the house.
  10. I just arrived the ground to find the match postponed with basically the whole crowd to find the match postponed and Stirling Albion's twitter had announced it, but ours hadn't! Shambles.
  11. Hard to argue with his main points "out of form, injuries a factor but no excuse, need to get back to earlier season performances, form been poor every time they've tried a shape change". But the onus is on him and his staff to form a winning shape from the players available, foster a belief and a winning mentality. As an aside, that website is an abortion.
  12. Oh, I'm well aware of the history, but uninvolved foreign civilians donating money to do it is distasteful.
  13. You can now buy Azov battalion collectors crypto coins to raise funds for Ukraine.
  14. I ended up standing with my back to the 2nd half at gayfield. Like the fella at boghead in A Shot At Glory.
  15. The home playoff against Edinburgh City was the first we allowed fans in after covid and I was sat in the away end due to the regs and we were surprisingly good, despite how shite we had been that season. The home playoff last season against the same opposition we were absolutely shite.
  16. I enjoyed the playoffs home and away against Airdrie. I hated the away leg against Arbroath mind you.
  17. I interviewed Adamson for a football magazine just before he was sacked and had to rewrite the article just before it was published. I was against his sacking at the time, but the hiring of Murray and his statements about the poverty of training arrangements at his meet the manager session when he was hired changed my view on the subject. Still love him for what his team did over the period he was in charge though. And he was a thoroughly engaging person to interview.
  18. Just let the groundsman work on it, that should do it.
  19. I don't smoke, but this sums up my feelings on the matter. Also, to echo another poster "stoners" are losers, with poor personal hygiene, shite opinions, no dress sense and are boring, cringeworthy c***s. Smoke if you want, but avoid being part of the stoner crowd at all costs.
  20. There's near zero choice in Alexandria so I usually have Tennents or Guinness in the pub. As soon as I'm anywhere with a selection (Balloch is a good nearby option for me) I always take the chance to have something more interesting.
  21. My German in laws drink bud light or tennents cans when they're in Scotland. Which I find bonkers given the quality of beer they're used to drinking 7 days a week in bavaria. Maybe they're doing a sort of slumming it, enjoying the shite novelty? PBR gets a bad rep, but it's a decent enough lager. There's some terrific craft ales out of the US, and plenty of mass produced good beers too. Given the size of that nation, the sweeping statement that "all American beer is crap" could never be true. In summary; kid rock is a bell end.
  22. I bet you live in a squat, injecting crack and smoking acid.
  23. Lost all that weight because you can't afford to eat because you're a POT ADDICT! Robbing grannies and invalids for your DRUG FIX!
