    Tried rolling all the windows down and turning up the heating, but still hear the ticking. It's like everything I know is a lie.

    Sound is definitely coming from the engine. Not tyre related as happening when stationary.

    Question for those in the know: my Ford transit is making a ticking sound that increases or decreases in direct correlation to the acceleration. When it was happening last autumn the garage said it just needed an oil change with its MOT in December and that solved it at that time. Is it likely to be the same thing again? Should it need an oil change every 3 to 4 months?

    Can't really add anything that hasn't been said by others already. On all counts. If there's a silver lining it's that I'm sitting with the heating on having a cuppa, rather than freezing my pert bottom off watching my beloved Sons pump the Albion.

    Temp in G83 definitely dropping, but still bright, sunny and clear as it has been all day on my travels through G82, G83 and PA16.

    Pitch is in poor nick, weather report looks shite, if it goes ahead, it could be a miserable viewing experience. I'm torn between wanting it on to continue momentum and get it out the way, and wanting it off to give players more rest and avoid freezing watching it.
