Scott Bain is bang average. I don't think he's bad, as such, but is one of the most obvious examples in recent years of someone who becomes a Scotland regular purely on the basis that he plays for one of the Old Firm. I may be biased but I'd have both Gillespie and Carson at Motherwell before Bain. Zander Clark, Liam Kelly, Daniel Bachmann, Joe Lewis and even a mentally deranged Alan Mcgregor are all better keepers than Bain.

Stick it on Auto Trader. Think it's about 60 quid to put up an advert with a decent number of photos. Personally, I wouldn't buy a car from either ebay or Gumtree.

I was a student and worked in a supermarket when we used to qualify for Europe so could never afford to go. As soon as I started working full time we turned to shite and haven't been near Europe since.

I think Turnbull is a brilliant player but facts are that if he's playing for Motherwell we're never getting £5 million+ for him. If we get over £2 million for him I think we're doing well. That's not to say that I don't think he's worth that but most Scottish clubs aren't in a position to hold clubs to ransom. The way forward for clubs in this country (including Celtic to an extent, with van Dijk being an example) is to get a reasonable transfer fee with a sizeable sell on. If we can get £2 million for Turnbull just now with, say, a 25% sell on then that probably represents decent business as far as the club are concerned.

Disappointed to see Aldred go but not surprised in the slightest. Same goes fo McHugh - I thought we would maybe have looked to try and keep him but possibly as a centre half. I've always thought he was better in that position as he's far too slow on the ball to play in midfield. Will be interesting to see where Gorrin ends up. It's been said by others previously but fair fucks to him / his agent if he manages to get someone in the English Championship off the back of 6 good months with us.

Bartley looks to be a good signing for Livi. Granted I don't see much of him but has always looked fairly decent every time I've seen him play.

To be fair to Chalmers, the Championship looks to be his level. Some of his deliveries into the box last night were pretty decent and he didn't look too bad defensively, although I suppose that's to be expected when he doesn't have Zak fucking Jules alongside him.
