  1. Reading this billy big baws chat from fans of a village team who have achieved nothing of note in their history is hilarious. You are right at home in this 'tin pot league' and l look forward to the mighty Clyde (and others) handing you a few pumpings next season [emoji6]
  2. McNeil at RB, Lowden at LB, move McNiff into CB and sign another good CB and we might be onto something.
  3. Junior and perry both need binned. Any sentimental memories of previous form need put aside. He was a horror show this season. Somebody even said keep him as we don't have any other cbs. Good, get some signed during the summer that actually fit the description.
  4. These were senior clubs before the pyramid system came into place so it's nothing to do with labelling or branding. Just because you don't view them as such or because they were denied access to the closed shop league system for so long doesn't change that.
  5. They were behind the goal into which the goal was scored. Plenty of people were having a go at the comedy show defending which Higgins seemed to find amusing. That is what drew attention to him. No need for mckenzie to get involved. The fact that this is his only memorable contribution says it all really. Pish!
  6. Yes, the clubs of the lowland and highland leagues are also senior clubs.
  7. Having a chuckle with Higgins then shooting his mouth off at fans in the wake of us conceding a schoolboy goal vs Edinburgh has probably not endeared him to anyone. Made absolutely no impact either, complete waste of a wage.
  8. No matter what happens, we will still be a senior club next season [emoji6]
  9. So we have to bin Lowden despite him being the best left back in the league for Arbroath and crocked after a few games for us! Flynn scored 15 goals from midfield for Annan the season before we signed him. Spent most of this season on the bench thanks to Barry Ferguson but with decent players around him is a capable footballer. On the other 2 McNiff is average but probably the best CB we have at the club, certainly better than smith or perry. Johnston is shite though. What has happened to Rutkiewicz btw? Not even in the squad on Saturday!
  10. I'm pretty sure HIS stance is that a crime wasn't committed. Regardless, he has gone from playing full time in England with Plymouth to a last roll of the dice shot from a lowland league bound shower of shit. I'm pretty sure as he looks round the pitch at Phil johnston, scott McLaughlin, etc he will realise how far he has fallen.
  11. Seems unlikely that either of these would take this on, certainly not without waiting to see how things pan out, given that one of their sides could be 2 tiers above us next season and the other could be passing us on the way down.
  12. As a CIC should the members not have been consulted on a significant decision, with likely backlash, such as this?
  13. You obviously have access to evidence that the criminal court did not then to make such a strong allegation? It's a very murky area in terms of consent being given when the victim is out of their face. Part of me wonders if there would have been an allegation at all if it had been joe bloggs rather than an international footballer. In terms of the clubs decision, it was always going to come with a hugely negative backlash given the high profile nature of the case and it doesn't sit comfortably with a community and family oriented outlook. On the other hand we are essentially getting a Scottish Premiership standard player for our last 6 games which will surely help on the field. In my opinion we could have done without the controversy and divisive nature of this decision but let's see how it pans out.
  14. Sadly shouting at goodwillie or the players in general will probably generate more disapproval than this signing with sections of our support.
  15. Not sure another disinterested big time Charlie is what we need to be honest. Maybe he will feel he has a point to prove and play out his skin. However, very surprised he has found another professional club so quickly and not particularly happy that it is us.
  16. Hopefully it doesn't damage them irreparably. Throwing a couple of 18 year olds into the shit show that is our defence will be tough on them. On the bright side, they can only be an improvement surely!
  17. Would like to see Matty Flynn's take on working under Ferguson.
  18. Won't have to look over our shoulder soon as every other fucker will be ahead of us!
