  1. Jamesy Lawd is a completely unfunny simpleton. Imagine an individual sad enough to keep that act going for such a drawn out period of time. If that's 'comic relief' then shoot me now!
  2. As opposed to the current unquestionable success?
  3. You didn't just come on to leave a positive comment though, did you? You had a pop about people running their mouths and then being very quiet. This implies you think it's wrong for fans to be unhappy with a run of 7 games without a win, in probably the shitest league in Europe. Or that putting in a shift and getting an acceptable result at Stirling should be seen as some astonishing achievement. Putting in a shift and fighting for the cause should be the bare minimum that's acceptable. Fans will respond to the performance on the park. There was less negativity as the performance was improved. Criticism has been more than justified lately so your point was utter pish.
  4. Decent pedigree as you suggest and could be the experienced leader/organiser we need back there. On the other hand turns 37 in May and been playing junior for the last 2 seasons so could be finished. Worth a punt possibly if he seems fit enough.
  5. I'm sure folk are more fed up with your pointless trolling and primary school level spelling and grammar.
  6. Probably because they have said it in the match thread on the cup forum, genius.
  7. Anyone chatting to Linton yesterday get news on how long he will be out for?
  8. Ah, the Ferguson effect in full force. We could sign Messi and after a couple of months Barry would have him playing shite. Probably try and convert him to a LB too.
  9. Whilst I don't necessarily disagree with what you are saying there are plenty of examples of youthful ex-pros taking teams on at this level. Most dramatically Paul Hartley who took Alloa up 2 levels before getting a job at a higher level. It is perhaps less of a gamble, or you are more likely to know what you will get with an older appointment but I still think a young ex-pro has advantages. Early days but look at impact of Mackay at Stirling.
  10. Part of the problem is he is an arrogant fud who has been surrounded by yes men and utter arselickers for most of his career. Thus his man management skills are absolutely zero. I'm sure he would fit right back in with the type of simpletons who lap up the shite he spouts in his 'paper' columns. And you are most welcome to him.
  11. A bit of a rut? The club is in a coma and a lack of any clear direction or leadership coupled with pish to mediocre fare on the park means we are getting closer to switching off the life support than coming round. The longer we languish in this pish league the less people give a f**k. The fact we only have the 4th highest average attendance in this league says it all. It's not too much to expect better. Our only season objective should be promotion and if we fail to achieve that again then heads should roll, starting with Ferguson.
  12. I disagree. With the players we have, a competent coach and man manager should be able to achieve a play off spot. Problem is ferguson signs good players and then they get worse under his 'guidance'. Until he throws his toys out the pram and crucifies them in public. He has had long enough to get a consistent style of play embedded and bring his own players in to back that up. Instead we still get harum scarum long ball pish at every turn. Get somebody in now who knows what they are doing and the season is salvageable.
  13. Your fans get banned on here all the time because they are largely scumbags who can't control themselves when they aren't getting their own way.
  14. You love it so much that you would happily jettison 20 historic clubs into a regional setup and replace them with a handful of b-teams? Good Yin!
  15. Remember when one of these clubs you brand as a waste of space sent Celtic out the Scottish cup on Roy Keane's debut? Glorious! Why exactly would other premiership teams support this move either? Would hearts/killie etc really want to see the OF sign an even higher quantity of their most promising young players to play in a b-team in League 2? Can't see how that helps the player development or anyone other than the old firm. If there is not an 11-1 vote in favour from premier league sides will you then bleat on about how unfair it is Hamilton's vote counts the same as yours because they only have 1000 fans?
  16. Why not reintroduce a reserve league if kids playing with or against seasoned pros is what we want. That way they would be playing against a far higher standard of opposition than they would in League 2. Or why not have more young players sent out on loan to lower premier/top championship clubs or down south. Both of these approaches are surely going to develop players better than fielding a team in L2. This whole proposal is just blatant pandering to the old firm. Lapped up by idiots who think the utter shite spouted in the total rags they read is the way forward. Celtic and rangers probably want a b-team in the SPFL so that if they eventually manage to land a move down south or to the Atlantic league they are still represented here too. Nobody has yet explained how having top youth players playing against utter jobbers in League 2 is going to fast track them to the top. And the fact that rangers youth side only finished mid table in the youth league makes this even more laughable. Try competing there first before forcing this idea on us.
  17. Can somebody please explain how taking youngsters we hope will be our next generation of international players and having them play in league 2 will help anything? To take a couple of current examples Liam Henderson and Callum McGregor. Henderson spent time on loan at Rosenborg winning a double and Hibs at the top of the championship and winning a cup. Now on fringes of Celtic first team and an U-21 international. McGregor went down south on loan to Notts County for a season and is now a squad regular at Celtic and on the fringes of international squads. Does anybody seriously believe that the thing missing from these guys development was a season or 2 playing against Annan/Berwick etc in League 2? Also any team that tries to play anything resembling football in this league is doomed. It's physicality and kick and rush all over the place. For a full team of youngsters to survive they would need to adapt and play in a way that's probably against all coaching principles for players we want to be developing for the international stage!
  18. Colt teams should definitely not be allowed into the SPFL. If they are determined to force this through then split the lowland league into East and West. Stick the bigots in lowland west and Hibs/hearts colts in lowland east. Get the juniors on board and sort out the tiers below this level too. Split the HL into 2 divisions and offer Aberdeen a colt team in there too. No colt teams should be allowed promotion to SPFL so if they win their league then nobody qualifies for the playoff with club 42 from that division.
  19. There is no doubt in my mind the Pat was a better technical footballer than Sweeney or Gormley. His strengths were definitely not mobility or stamina but his touch, control and vision were special.
  20. Whilst we have been left languishing in League 2, Big Pat has been balling at a higher level. Just chew on that before you question his genius.
  21. I remembered (eventually) that the fat doc who got shot with the arrow was Tara's partner. But then who was Negan threatening to shoot if rick didn't find the guns the other week at Alexandria? Clearly another dull fat woman from Alexandria that I had somehow blended with the doctor.
  22. Chris Bryant is like a Poundland version of tony Blair.
  23. Are you Michael Oliver? Or his agent? Or a family member? Listening to you, it's like you are describing paolo maldini. Oliver is equally pish or worse than our current options. Hence why he came from the lowland league and has now gone back there.
