I keep thinking every time on this thread your going to post an update on Maxwell given our 2 teams were rumoured to be signing him. Have you heard anything more about him joining either of us on a permanent?

Sadly as we’re obviously having to make severe cuts we had to let go of some of the non playing staff.

That’s a pretty decent entry price for Friday night’s game. Don’t think il get to it but will purchase the PPV. Do both clubs get a share of the gate and PPV or is it only the home team? I know the final it’s split 50-50 but not sure if it’s the case in earlier rounds?

No doubt grants record is atrocious. Surely some of your experienced players attitude should be questioned as well seemingly you were able to offer far more for Dorrans than we could have, so I’d bet he is on a good wage and it’s not as though he can claim to be some inexperienced player just learning his trade. Has he really been given his all and trying his hardest?

While you have a point about Graham’s miss being awful and being glossed over. Graham on the whole has won us plenty of points. Sneddon and stones calamities have cost us points. I don’t really recall thinking about any matches that we have won that Sneddon and stone (although the latter hasn’t played that much) had much of any impact on us winning eg QOS, Dunfermline, Morton etc while Graham did in my opinion.

Some of these football managers but have really good employment lawyers mate if that’s the case. Pretty shocking if they are entitled to compo from resigning unless it’s perhaps related to a confidentiality agreement or something

If he’s resigned and had a year left in his contract then Ayr will have won a watch as he won’t be entitled to compo by tendering a resignation

Not sure how you can turn this decision on us not getting another few hundred more fans to turn up. As others have said if we are that desperate that we need to sell Tait for £100k at this point then there are much bigger underlying issues that a few more fans wouldn't solve. To be honest given that football has for the majority of the last year been behind closed doors I don’t think clubs in general attendances in the championship and league one would make much difference. There may have been some such as hearts getting more income than others because of the size of support from purchases of pay per view but don’t think it would have been a massive difference amongst other clubs

At least you haven’t let him go for nothing like we did. Like Kevin Nisbet and Kyle Turner he came through our youth academy and we never kept them on and been huge successes elsewhere (only by luck and McCalls persuasion have we managed to get Turner back). though I agree that £100,000 for a highly rated youngster who still has 3 years on his deal is peanuts especially when Hibs look to be selling on guys like Nisbet for a few million and clearly have a bit of cash to spend

He didn’t have much to do I’m sure he made a few saves against Dunfermline- but as I said he can have no complaints if he is dropped. Please show me how it is quite clear that I have a deep hatred for Sneddon? Show me these threads where I poured out such hate for him then please that was any different to anyone else criticising him for making another blunder or for saying he hadn’t developed enough over 4 years
