  1. Doesn't really look worth seeing tonight. A cast of nobodies and Angus Robertson.
  2. It's strange how the metric system was introduced so long ago and I'd assume all you youngsters were taught it at school yet we still use stones/pounds/feet/inches for our weight and height. And still drink pints. And use miles per gallon. Anyway, I'm 92 kgs and should be 78 kgs. I won't reach the 'target' because I am a lazy greedy b*****d. 203 lbs, 14 stones 7 lbs. There are 2.2046 lbs in a kg.
  3. It was a good warm up for them at The Garage on Monday. I was deaf on Tuesday. Enjoy it tonight.
  4. Could one of you well read people on here point me in the direction of past GERS figures and how this massive black hole relates to figures since the GERs figures started being published? Cheers in advance
  5. She's not dead. Now he's got an extra hole to choose from.
  6. Doesn't seem the most balanced of panels. The red button comments will be more interesting than any of the panel.
  7. But I can't see you buying a pair. £135 is a bitty steep as well but I'll have a wander down on Saturday. If there's not as big a queue as there was for the first ones, I'll treat myself.
  8. In a follow up to their sold out red versions, Hanon have brought out black versions of the spirit of '83 diadora trainers.
  9. Given that the panel is normally quite left wing, as is the BBC, I have no problem with them occasionally having a right wing panel. Also, I want all voices to be heard even if they are right wing nutters so that their arguments can be countered.
  10. Rocket Rony is saying that they're risking getting the fans a bad reputation. For most Scottish football fans, Celtic fans have always had a bad reputation. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35278065
  11. Folk who drop litter and c***s who put their manly feet on the seats up the back of buses. Hanging's too good for them. And do parents not teach their kids to say please and thank you anymore. Etc
  12. It's definitely affluent judging by the number of range rovers on the school run. It might not be drugs related. It might just be an argument that went horribly wrong. Who knows? It's cost one guy his life and one guy his liberty now. So sad.
  13. Shocking. Just picked up my kid from the primary school. She usually goes to the after school club at the academy but I assumed it would be cancelled.
  14. Ahem, no. They are special editions. It's a publicity photo from a shop in Aberdeen who have worked with Diadora to have them made to commemorate something that happened in 1983. As an 'Aberdeen fan' you'd know that. The launch is on Saturday. At the risk of repeating myself, the launch is on Saturday. You can't buy them until then and you can't buy them online. At the shop only.
  15. My organs will be of no use to anyone once I'm dead. They're not much cop just now but I'm all for them using anything they want from me once I'm dead. I've already put in my will and signed the forms for leaving my body to medical science if there is a need for cadavers. Can't see why anyone would object.
  16. Has he? When's he up in court for this incitement?
  17. Is this democracy? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-32009961 Anti UKIP protesters chase him and his wife and 2 kids out of a pub. As embarrassing as the fucknugget protesters when he was up in Edinburgh. By all means protest and argue with him but try to not make yourselves look worse than UKIP while you're doing it. Unfortunately, the far left are as bad if not worse than the far right.
  18. Stiff Little Fingers this Sunday. Hopefully they don't play too many form the new album which basically wasn't that great.
  19. I was at the gig as well. Agreed, not their best but since I've been attending their Scottish gigs (plus 2 in Manchester) since Nigel had hair I've got a lot to compare it with. Neil was having a lot of bother basically changing all his set up from scratch at the start of the gig and the sound didn't get any better. Much prefer them up at the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen. Bought another "Avoiding real work since 1985" T shirt simply because it's the 30th anniversary of them starting the band and me starting my apprenticeship. They've done better avoiding real work than I have.
  20. Cheers. We've tried the Lactulose and syrup of figs but not this Movacol yet. might give it a go. The problem is you don't want it to work too well and she has accidents that just make her more stressed about going. Seems that it might not be prescribed for under 12 but I will check with the doctor/chemist.
  21. Julian Cope is playing at the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh in May. Of course SLF are playing in Aberdeen Lemon Tree March 15th (warm up or the barrolands gig 2 nights later)
  22. Any tips for getting a 4 year old to crap more than once a week? Not more fruit, water, lactulose or califig because we've tried all these. Any other suggestions? She's got a bit of a phobia about going (still - I thought she'd grow out of it) so tends to try and keep it in. Explaining that it'll be really sore doesn't work either.
