Next 2 games are season defining. Aberdeen and Livingston.
Lose both and we're fucked.
Without the awful arithmetic, this was the point I was trying to make.

What a week ahead, strap yourselves in.
Not outrageous to suggest we could be bottom this time next week.
A lot to be worried about but my biggest concern is level of signing in January . A real feel of "f**k it, let's have a punt" about them.
Three years and we're still playing a formation with wing backs without any actual wingback available.

A shot on target!!

It's not going to be 4-4-2. Robinson isn't playing left wing.
It'll be Matt Smith at right wing back and 3-5-2. That's exactly what they did in the second half on Sunday.
That would mean K. Smith in centre mid, assuming 5-3-2. Not that that's impossible. K. Smith at RWB seems most likely or possibly even playing Robinson or Gallacher there.

Gallacher, Booth, Montgomery, Considine, Carey, Robinson, Wright, Fransyk, Brown, Keltjens, Olufunwa, Jaiyesmi, McGowan, Costelloe and now Matt Smith. I reckon 15 different players used as wing backs in the last 14 months or so.

Looks like it to me.
Zero idea how he'll set up the midfield.
Common sense says Phillips and Matt Smith sitting, with Carey/Connor Smith the ones tasked with defending wide/supporting the striker.
Assume so but an outside chance it might be 4-5-1 similar to the end of the Dundee game. Either way hope we get a lot more from (C.)Smith today.

Correct sacking this week, surprised the girls won by so much when they seemed to have more struggles selling than the boys.
The editing on this programme is fantastic. The bit last night where the boys came out of their corporate negotiation, the look on guy who cocked up the meeting’s face when says he thinks it went quite well and the other guy tells him it was a complete car crash had me buckled.
Clear from the start the girls margins were much much bigger than the boys and it was going to take a selling disaster or massive refund for them to lose. Probably the first time I've watched in a long time that I actually thought a team did really well.
Agreed right one went but wasn't a great PM either. Boys looking a bit useless again this year.

Got themselves a cracking left wingback.

Need to change this. Seems a matter of time till country score
Fair play to Levein once the double sub happened County had a lot less control. Must have spend the last 5-6 minutes there without County getting getting out their half.
Amazing the difference not allowing opposition sides to camp on the halfway knowing we can't play behind makes
Still a lot of work to do but easier to do from a point of safety.

Been an open game - maybe down to our line up - but entertaining. Lovely to finally have some pace in our side.
Two bits of quality the difference; the finish from Kimpioka and a great bit of goalkeeping from mitov to stop a tap in.

I really didn’t like the look of the midfield against Airdrie but I think today’s might be worse.
Only one midfielder on the bench too - and 5 strikers.
Can assume Phillips and Smith are injured and that Levein really, really doesn't rate Sprangler.

Always thought we had wee spells as a club when we tried something different and always fell on our arse. McClelland was signings from English non league, Connolly was Scottish lower divisions and McLean and EPL youth league.
While you ask John Budden anyone?, I would remind you of Colin Marshall and Lee Hardy. Will have nightmares tonight because of this
My main memory of Marshall is him throwing a temper tantrum because he didn't get on as a late sub in one of his early (non)appearances.

As bad as Robinson was, he wasn't half left out to dry that last 20 minutes or so.
Not usually one to boo off but deserved it today. Some guys out there nowhere good enough to be at this level. A total lack of ambition to win the game too.
Garbage.

Nice to see @Kyle "randomly chosen" to win a signed top.
They got to him. Happy clapper by the end of the week

Sometimes with "cup shocks" it's a case of team defending in numbers and getting their break. Undoubtedly not the case here with Airdrie much, much the better side.
Didn't like the starting midfield and thought max for sprangler was the switch at half time. Change of shape really didn't work. Gallacher was brutal - totally hid - and already our manager seems to have developed a total blind spot with Max.
There is so much dross in this squad it is unreal.

Another manager playing Carey deep.
Get it to f**k
Said the same in the game thread.
Frustrating as getting Careys best performances for us of recent.

Missing Phillips and I really don't get why sprangler isn't playing in his place. Really struggling to maintain any control. Not keen on Carey being deeper and seem determined to play ourselves into trouble.

It was sound commentary I thought Saints TV could and should be doing. To not have this when people are paying £5.99 a month is poor.
And more than that for international subscribers.
1 months DTV subscription for, er, international fans means you can watch it. 20 notes though.

Queuing to pick up a paper ticket, that I've already paid for, for a game that's likely not on.

Can only assume Gogic was shocked to have an opposition striker being within 10 yards of him after Saturday
