  1. Just watched tomorrow nights episode and again there is a scene where Mark steals the episode. Was crying laughing watching it.
  2. I dragged my girlfriend along to see it haha. I'd give it 6/10's a fair score. Colin Quinn's performance could bring it up to 7 though.
  3. Love and Mercy - 8/10 Amy - 7/10 Magic Mike XXL -6/10 Spent all day yesterday at the cinema. Saw the first two myself then the last with my burd.
  4. Lost River Ryan Gosling directorial debut. Not as bad as I expected based on the review but not that good either. 4/10
  5. Watched a few over the past few days. No Country for Old Men - 9/10 Coen Brothers at their best I'd say. One of the films where you can tell just from watching for a couple of seconds that it's a Coen Brothers film. i don't know how they do it. Fargo - 7/10 Second time watching it. Great film but from the second viewing I have to say I preferred the series. They Came Together - 5.5/10 Rom-com parody starring Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler. It felt like watching an 80 minute long sketch. Had some peaks and troughs all the way through however it made me laugh out loud more than enough times. The Spectacular Now - 8/10 I was dragged along to see That Awkward Moment with my girlfriend and afterwards said that Miles Teller was a terrible actor. I take that back now. Brilliant performance and he carries this film from start to finish.
  6. Chef - Had been looking forward to this film for a good while and built it up far too much so thought it was going to disappoint me hugely. In the end, I was only a wee bit disappointed, only because I felt the pacing was a bit off. Went on for too long due to some needless wee scenes but in the grand scheme of things it is forgiven. Good to see Favreau back doing what he does best after making big studio films for too long. 7/10
  7. Lester went full Heisenberg last night.
  8. Man on The Moon - 9/10 Andy Kaufman bio pic. Absolutely loved it.
  9. My mum is currently coming off Paroxetine after taking it for 25 years. I have never saw mood swings like she is having. Going to be a difficult few weeks.
  10. Walked out of A Million Ways to Die in the West after 20 minutes. Not for me.

    The League

Watched every episode of it so far. Its perfect for just switching off and watching some nonsense.
  12. wasn't sure where to post this but for anyone who has access to multiple regions, The Wolf of Wall Street is now on Argentinian and Mexican Netflix.
  13. Once me and my pals were talking about the time a few of us went up Meikle Bin and found a used tampon at the top of it. One of my pals, who hadn't been with us when we found it, looked very confused by this story and said 'What a strange place to have a period.'
  14. Wasn't really sure where to post this so felt here was appropriate. I made a music video and put it online yesterday. Here it is here
  15. Watched a film called 'Cheap Thrills' the other night. It comes out here in June and I urge everyone to go see it. Properly dark and funny with Dave Koechner being more than a caricature for once. 8/10
  16. Loved everything until the last episode. Cohle spent years looking over that case and it was essentially solved because Marty noticed that there was a green house in among the evidence. Not for me.
  17. My brother convinced his girlfriend that Sergio Busquets dads name was 'Cadbury'. My ex-girlfriend cried for half an hour because, despite being with her for 2 years and her having met my uncle Jim, I managed to convince her we had the same Uncle Jim. (Her reasoning behind believing it was that they 'both have moustaches'.
  18. Just won 335 quid from a fiver on Tottenham 5-1 tonight. f**k knows why I even put it on.
  19. Went to see A Long Way Down. 5/10 and a very generous 5/10 at that. Story wasn't put across well at all and the characters weren't written very well. The 5/10 comes from Arron Paul and Toni Collettes performances, doing well with the material they had. Also, was weak enough to make me want to read the book and appreciate what was a really good idea for a story.
  20. The best chain I've ever been to was Five Guys in Canada. The best fast food burger I have ever had. Locally, Pinto has to be my favourite, haven't had one in a while though. Worst has to be McDonalds. I've never understood the fascination with the place. Must be the billions they spend on marketing.

    Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Hitchcock is basically Larry/Gerry/Gary from Parks and Rec aswell. Can be forgiven cause its the first series but I hope they develop them into characters in their own right.
  22. This year has been an eventful one for me. This is the year that, in chronological order; I turned 21, my brother who I'm very close to moved out of my house, I was diagnosed with depression, I went my dream holiday to Canada, my cousin (who again i was very close to) died of a heroin overdose, I went to my first ever funeral where I carried the coffin, I got engaged, my dads best friend (my 'uncle') was diagnosed with cancer, and my uncle (dad of the cousin that died) had a massive heart attack. At any other point in my life this would have all floored me, but I'm managing to cope and its mostly down to being with the right person. She has managed to keep my spirits up throughout everything. What I'm saying is; don't become fixated on getting into a relationship. Just find solace in the fact that one day you will be in the right relationship. Edited to add: Completely forgot that this year also included: My cousin (sister of the one who died) got married and my dad found out he had a half sister which led to him finding out some horrible things about his dad, him openly crying infront of us for days (a rare sight with my dad) and then his half sister telling him she wanted nothing to with us. What a fucking year this has been.
