Went to the dentist today. For an appointment I made two months ago. When I got there it turned out she had phoned in sick and I hadn't checked my phone before I left so I didn't get the message. The next appointment I could get is in November. Oh and I walked there. About an hour and a half. And I turned down a shift at work because I had this appointment. And it turns out Maw Sanchez has an appointment with the same dentist tomorrow and she's just told me that she's had a call to say the dentist is back then.

Pretty much any air traffic control system could be fucked by an error by an airline. A plane flying into the tower for instance. A pretty big error, but still an error.

Are Hibs just going to alternate between Lennon and some EFL non-entity every year forever?

I saw this for the first time earlier. Everyone involved in this is a massive pervert and should be given a life sentence just to be safe.

You know what annoys me? Reports on BBC news where the voiceover - being delivered in the past tense because it's reporting on events which have happened - is done as an event is happening. It happens with sport, it happens with politicians giving speeches, it looks like an editorial decision to make the events feel as if they're being reported on as soon as they happen and it looks so utterly contrived it drives me nuts.

Lots of people in the comments complaining that "Dr. Kek" of "@thekeksociety" didn't even do any work to vet the image, pointing out it's from an article dated 2021 and that Cirsten Weldon (whoever she is) is dead. If you can't trust someone calling themselves Dr. Kek, who can you trust?
