  1. Because a good striker has to be able to do more than just score penalties (I await some rancid patter about the playoffs) + we’ve signed another striker he scored multiple penalties last season on top of a barrel load of other goals.
Let's take goals off players. Any other goals that dont count ?
If Clark had been playing alongside Safranko in a genuine two your criticism would be justified; but he wasn’t and therefore it isn’t.
Correct. He seems to be talking shite. Sadly was doing it on the Dundee thread :-(
  2. Have heard the signing on fee for Shankland is nothing like the figures mentioned with a quarter of this amount being more accurate. He is rumoured to have a very attractive goals and promotion bonus included with his contract.
So more or less it's all shite and yer the man in the know.
Step forward and take centre stage.
  3. You say Manchester United women as if they are very good that was one of their first ever games and entered as one of the lowest ranked teams in England, I would wager that the coaching and pay is better at Salford than it is for Man United.
The Australian team like you say was pretty decent in terms of women's football at the time however many of those players were semi pro and the teenagers they played against were pro.
I don't think many posters will either have the energy or talent of professional15 year old boys and would get utterly pumped by the USA woman's team.
The question in this thread has nothing to do with pay or coaching.
Friend of friends... my starting 11 I reckon would do well.
I know a few professional footballers and if its friend of friends I'd get a full team of footballers. Cheating but this was the question.
  4. Wtf is this. Have a look at those games against boys, the women don't even looked puffed out and the boys are sweating buckets. No chance 11 punters could beat the world cup champions
The USA women's football team were convincingly beaten by a team of adolescents in a embarrassing defeat for the world champions.
They were roundly outplayed, losing 5-2 against FC Dallas Under-15s academy side who took full advantage of their big day.

Manchester United women beaten 9-0 by Salford youth team

Australia’s women’s football team are ranked the fifth best side in world football. So how did they lose 7-0 to a collection of 15-year-old boys?
“To be honest we didn't expect that,” he told The Huffington Post.
“But the Jets boys were very good. All credit to them. They moved the ball around very well and were excellent on the night.

I'm not gonna look at the games but google brought up these first 3 games.

    Under 15s.....

  5. Are you pair for real? All that thing does is add a small bit of boiling water and then adds cold water to get the milk to a good temperature. It’s not an essential.
Think I'm in agreement with throbber here. Didnt take that long to boil a kettle and make bottles up. Didnt take long for said bottles to cool down.
We had a system and it worked.
Maybe be different with twins mind you but with 1 baby it was fine.
Even when having a 2 year old and a baby it was still fine.

Miss it a little bit as had a wee routine on the go and curtain times I'd do this in.

Now I've 9 n 7 year old boys who are either now playing with each other ( didnt think that ever happen with oldest son ) or they want nothing to do with each other.
It's going to be a long summer as just back from holidays.
