We didnt win against forest? ;-)
Now he’s fit I’m restarting the counter on CCurran. That’s 1 out of 1 we’ve won with him in the team whereas Davo hasn’t played in a winning Dundee side for about 5 seasons. Stats don’t tell the whole story old boy!
My stat was there when everyone was having a field day over how good Thomson was.....
You did more or less say if we dont agree with Curran getting 12 goals we dont know anything about football ....
Not going to quote you but was a horrible post.
But hey I dont mind being wrong like the rest of us on here and he will be our leading goal scorer or chips in with double figures1 -
Meh Wasnt myself who mentioned Davidson. Please, let's not go back to the Iain Davidson chat. He was absolutely murder and played about 10 games. Its unimportant if we beat St Mirren and County when he was on the park he was still a colossus minger.
Was speaking about our current goal threat Craig Curran2 -
The same Davidson who won more games than lost that season we had super Kevin Thomson? We could do with a player who isnt a Shitehouse?
Maybe if we re-signed Ian Davidson? And I’ll think you’ll find I didn’t say ‘at least’.....
On Saturday I thought Marshall looked potentially better than Holt going forward. A touch of the Tosher about him. Pacy with a sudden cut inside. There’s a great clip on YouTube of him scoring a cracking goal where he cuts inside the fullback. I’ve got him down for at least 6 [emoji4]
Still though if we win more games than lose I'd be happy with. Play offs would do me.0 -
Shankland has signed according to the daily record .... or I'm slow to the party

Curran will help him... he is the player who will get at least 12 goals..No one strolls this league. Lack of striking options is my biggest worry and yet to get over excited about the apparent world beater Nelson! He’s decent but a mile away from being a composed finisher yet
Or on a serious note I share the same view. However I do like the thought of new players coming in and hopefully the youngsters getting a chance this season.

Strolling this league ? Please delete that. I like the confidence but what do you base this on ?I think we are a decent keeper away from strolling this league. Really like how McPake is taking his time and only bringing in essentials rather than scatterguning.
If de Vries really is on the cards we are set.2 -
Newcastle have this evening agreed a £30m fee with Leicester for the sale of Ayoze Perez
The player needs to have a medical and agree personal terms.
Ashley gets as much money as he can before he fucks off ?0 -
We always have one. The boos ring out when it dosnt go our way.I honestly don't think we will have one. Really positive about this squad and if anyone will get that accolade it will be Hamiltoe or Kerr
Hamilton and whatever centre half makes a c**t of it. Midfield being key and actually helps the team out this season.
Hopefully we dont need to rely on Hamilton to much.0 -
Just ignore him. Only one I have on ignore. People just need to stop quoting him.If I'm P&B on my phone the bookmark loads up on my profile page. He was on it within the last 10-20 minutes constantly everytime I loaded up one day last weekend. He wasn't giving out dots and I'm guessing that's because he never had any, he (I imagine) just kept clicking on my profile, finding my last post then attempted to red dot it only to be met with a message saying he had none left.
It's absolutely brilliant.
The whole "give me red dots!" shtick would maybe work if he never, as you say, couldn't handle it and run trying to get you back.
It's when he replies to me you think after so long he would just give up. But I know he is trying his best this time round by starting a good few threads. Its dedication certainly.0 -
Still waiting for proof. :-)For actual money?0 -
I didnt realise who he was . I posted about some French player signing for Celtic which I took off it and came true a week later. Is it a new post, I seen he had it up days ago and just discounted because, you know, its him.
When I heard about that centre half we signed that took nearly 3 weeks to come true Haha0 -
I understand that and can see the thinking with better quality and less wages,I'm not saying hes wrong I just think it's a gamble.
AgreedNobody really gives a f**k what you think tbf.1 -
Five years ago, Tanguy Ndombélé was released from Guingamp academy. He had no club and felt that football was over for him. Four years ago, he was playing in France’s 5th division with Amiens then in the 2nd division a year later. Today he has signed for Tottenham.
Has did well for himself0 -

Just found out this evening Kevin McNaughton coaches at Dundee also. ANn ex junior player does also ( for life of me I cant remember name ). And Jamie McBrearty also helps with 16s.
Dundee scout was at disc again yesterday. He was watching the game next to us. Think it was fairmuir v Utd social.
3 times a week mates young lad will be training as of two weeks time for 16s n 18s0 -
Yup agree with this. However I do worry about them since at least two of them are mega injury prone. Our two new central defenders I dont know if they have a bad past injury wise. I hope not certainlyIf all the positivity from Morton fans is correct then I’m sure he’ll have no issue getting a full time offer from them. Based on signings he’s be 5th choice with everyone fit at Dens at the moment so can understand why he’s not been kept on0 -
On a half serious note... you have went from 12 goals and being confident to how many ?
Maybe 12 is a bit optimistic but this revisionism is beyond a joke. Moussa was amongst the worst ‘professional’ footballers I’ve ever witnessed. He had no attributes whatsoever. Shite in front of goal, terrible first touch, crap link up play, slow as a week in the jail and a fondness for getting needlessly booked barging into opponents all over the pitch. You may think Curran is shite but if you think he’s worse than Moussa then I’m sorry, you know f**k all about football.
I really hope we sign 2 strikers better than Curran and that he is 4th choice, loaned out to Cowdenbeath by Xmas - I really do. But he’s signed for the next 2 seasons so let’s give the guy a fresh start. He’s an experienced pro, we’ve a fair few relatively inexperienced guys in the squad and his nouse could come in handy.
I’m standing by my prediction though, we’ll speaking more highly of him at the end of the season than we are now.
It was a pretty encouraging display today. A much better tempo about us and a simpler, more Scottish style. I’d give Ferrie a chance at being our number 1. I see no way back for Hamilton although I’d be delighted to be proved wrong.
From what I saw today Marshall and Byrne will be big players for us, we need Nelson to stay fit, McDaid and Todd playing wide will be a threat with either Ness or Gowser in alongside Byrne. We’ve 4 half decent CH’s when fit too.
Pre season optimism at its best!!
I do like the last part of the sentence about knowing f**k all about football.
Surely you can base Moussa and Curran on facts?
Least we can agree 4th choice striker wouldn't be end of the world....
However it's hard to keep confident with a striker who has been here a little while who has contributed zero.
See how this season goes.
Hopefully injuries of players will stay away.
I'm presuming the new centre half has no injuries to worry about ?
