  1. One of my favourite Larry lines.
  2. Again couldn't make the game today (for family reasons), but obviously delighted that we got a good win and also seemed to have played so well. I was encouraged when I saw Ally Roy was starting; he's become such an important player so quickly. Was concerned Taylor Steven was out, especially as Quinn Coulson hasn't really looked the part this year. Perhaps he has impressed in training recently. In any case his inclusion seems to have worked. Clearly a huge result for Rice, and we need to push on from here with a run of wins/performances.
  3. Hi m8, can you change the title to FIFA World Cup or just World Cup for the sake of accuracy? Ta.
  4. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/2023/11/01/warren-gatland-my-greatest-british-and-irish-lions-team-xv/ Feel free to comment and seethe.
  5. Which is always an attraction, especially as it's a small ground likely to have a fair bit of character. I always drive to away games and, almost never, drink, but I might make an exception here and train it.
  6. For the sake of clarity, are you suggesting the Alloa players were not, or may not have been, motivated for Saturday's game because of Brian Rice's time at Falkirk?
  7. I'm not having that. An even better story teller.
  8. Completely agree. I thought with the players we signed that we would be stronger defensively this season compared to last, but that isn't how it's working out.
  9. Indeed. Ogayi is our reserve goalie, playing because PJ is injured (an injury caused by Neill's shit defending v Hamilton). There's no comparison with Jay (who is tbf much better than PJ too).
  10. Yes, I'm sure that's exactly what he's thinking.
  11. That all sounds rather bizarre. Back four, Stevie H further forward than Roberts, Miko starting. I blame @LeodhasXD tbh.
  12. I was surprised to see him starting. How did that affect the line up/formation?
  13. Shocking stuff from us. I've always backed Rice, but maybe that's it. Only positive is I'm not there.
  14. Indeed, "properly fit" is going to be the big question for both. I'm not sure LD has been properly fit since he's been at the club. Similarly, I do wonder what the cumulative impact of injuries over the years has taken on Stef's body. Both are genuine talents though. I'd argue Steven has been playing well enough to keep his place whoever comes back, so tricky decisions for Rice to fit LD, Scougs, Taylor, Roy and Wales in to optimum effect. Wales to me looks like he could suddenly starting banging a few goals in. Let's hope he does. I agree about PJ going back in, but I have to say Ogayi has done just fine, certainly better than I feared he might.
  15. I know Farrell can be a c*nt, but I'd happily see him in a Scotland Jersey.
  16. That's cause England are sh*t, but Boks and Ireland are v good. When watching the Old Firm, I always think "which set of supporters will be most distraught by a defeat", then hope the other team wins.
