I like the sound of this signing. A genuine alternative to Dario at centre forward. We certainly have plenty attacking options now and I think we'll need them.

I could see the logic in us bringing Robert Thomson in. He would give us a different type of centre forward to Dario and provide genuine cover. Also, it might be an opportunity to get a decent centre in for next year.

It's certainly an exciting signing. I've watched a few YouTube clips and Jack seems to be a left-sided attacker. He's got a top class pedigree, but even so this will likely be a big step up for him. He's also got to push good players out of the starting lineup to get a lot of starts. As Kirky seems to be out of the St Mirren game, we could well see him thrown in tomorrow.

I think, despite our excellent run of results and how well we've competed so far this season, that we need at least one effective alternative to/help for Dario to finish the job of staying up. Maybe Aitchison is that player?
