  1. Rawlyk definitely out, I would expect McPherson to be playing. Not sure about the others.
  2. If you used the TUPE date then he would move above Ian Little as well, who has since been replaced by Colin Cameron.
  3. Here is the list as of 1st January 2014, thanks to Loons Youth Team on the Sack Race thread. Since then Ross Jack has gone, so he is now 7th longest serving manager out of the 42. 08/05/08 - Dick Campbell (Forfar Athletic) 21/01/09 - Ross Jack (Elgin City) 25/03/10 - Neil Lennon (Celtic) 27/05/10 - Paul Sheerin (Arbroath) 07/06/10 - Danny Lennon (St Mirren) 30/12/10 - Stuart McCall (Motherwell) 07/02/11 - Jim Duffy (Clyde) 16/05/11 - Ally McCoist (Rangers) 18/05/11 - Paul Hartley (Alloa Athletic) 18/05/11 - Derek Adams (Ross County) 31/05/11 - John Coughlin (East Stirlingshire) 07/10/11 - Jim McInally (Peterhead) 26/10/11 - Ian Little (Berwick Rangers) 04/12/11 - Greig McDonald (Stirling Albion) 21/03/12 - Jim Jefferies (Dunfermline Athletic) 15/05/12 - Mark Roberts (Ayr United) 17/05/12 - Stuart Garden (Montrose) 03/07/12 - Grant Murray (Raith Rovers) 17/07/12 - Martyn Corrigan (Stenhousemuir) 09/10/12 - Ray McKinnon (Brechin City) 22/10/12 - Stephen Aitken (Stranraer) 22/11/12 - Ian Murray (Dumbarton) 13/01/13 - Jim Chapman (Annan Athletic) 30/01/13 - Jackie McNamara (Dundee United) 30/01/13 - Alan Archibald (Partick Thistle) 22/02/13 - John Brown (Dundee) 28/02/13 - Gary Locke (Heart of Midlothian) 03/04/13 - Gary Holt (Falkirk) 03/04/13 - Alex Neil (Hamilton Academical) 07/04/13 - Derek McInnes (Aberdeen) 05/05/13 - James Ward (Albion Rovers) 10/06/13 - Tommy Wright (St Johnstone) 25/06/13 - Allan Johnston (Kilmarnock) 27/06/13 - Jim McIntyre (Queen of the South) 12/09/13 - John McGlynn (Livingston) 24/10/13 - Gary Bollan (Airdrie United) 12/11/13 - Terry Butcher (Hibernian) 25/11/13 - Gary Naysmith (East Fife) 30/11/13 - Jimmy Nicholl (Cowdenbeath) 04/12/13 - John Hughes (Inverness Caledonian Thistle) 13/12/13 - Kenny Shiels (Morton) Vacant - Queen's Park
  4. I'm going to Turkey in 2 weeks time for a week of practice and playing so that I can hopefully hit the ground running when the season starts on 1st April.
  5. I asked my dad, a Chelsea season ticket holder, what he thought of the Rangers situation tonight. His response was 'Well, it wouldn't be the worst thing if they ceased to exist completely. I wouldn't have any problem with it.' I have yet to canvas the opinion of any Linfield supporters however.
  6. For the record I am quite anti-Rangers (although I think the attitude of some people is as bad the other way). My point was, when you typed that word, what was your phone / computer / whatever trying to correct it to? If you had typed it correctly then why would predictive text change it to an incorrect spelling? If you had made a typo, why would predictive text change it to another word that also doesn't exist? Or was there no predictive text at all and you're just making it up, unable to admit that you made a mistake?
  7. Weird, my predictive text suggests words that actually exist. Anyway, if I was Stirling Albion I would turn up at Ibrox on 9th March and claim you read it in the paper that you were playing some team called Rangers.
  8. It won't be 1.25-1.3 at half time. It would be about 4.5-5. If the price was 5.0, you could have traded out for a £20 profit. If the price was 4.5, you could have traded out for a £23.33 profit.
  9. I imagine it will be all in or not, and the bet will be a loser regardless of when it was put on. Edit; just seen it was put on in November, that will be settled as a losing bet, because it is.
  10. Berwick winning 3-0, and by definition scoring over 2.5 goals, got me £365, I was the most animated I've been in a while when currie scored the penalty for the 3rd goal.
  11. I've been golfing in Portugal on several occasions, but the golf itself is just too expensive now.Vilamoura Old Course is always worth a game, that's the only inspiration I can offer you. I'd rather go to Turkey or Bulgaria these days.
  12. It's not a palpable error. Either; a) the 1/150 is an asian handicap (i.e. only two prices are quoted, not a draw price), and as well as covering Roma and the draw, you also get your money back if Roma lose by 1 goal. b) they actually are the same market. The difference between 1/40 and 1/150 is not that much. If you put £10 on at 1/40 you get £10.25 back. If you put it on at 1/150 you get £10.07 back. In reality, neither of them are backable markets. The numbers are irrelevant at those odds, who is seriously going to back something at 1/40 or 1/150.
  13. Peterhead winning would have given me returns of £660, instead of the £120 I got back, for an outlay of £90. Although I am grateful for perming 5x 4 folds, as otherwise I would have got nothing back.
  14. I like your style. To be honest I would avoid spurs, I can just see palace getting a draw.
  15. Stumbled across this tonight, the audited payouts from William Hill casino for the most recent month; http://www.williamhillcasino.com/media/payouts/Monthly_TST.pdf
  16. £2 on a randomly picked number 8 bonus ball in the local pub returns £98.
  17. To be honest I am very rarely in a bookies, but when I am and I play a fobt I would be inclined to make progressively bigger bets the more I play. The difference with bookies is that I won't use my debit card to deposit more if I lose all my original stake. I've never used a debit or credit card in a bookies. But if I walk in with £200 I'll be quite prepared to lose that, and no more.
  18. What are the crowd singing at the moment to the tune of 'here we go, here we go, here we go'? And why?
  19. Well, it comes down to discipline. If I keep playing roulette then it won't be profit. I'm determined that 2014 is going to be a completely FOBT / games of chance free year. That's kind of why I analysed (and graphed) today's play, to see how ridiculously close I came to losing a 4-figure sum.
  20. Two reasons; 1) I wanted to see if my £65 bet would have been a winner if I had continued with it. 2) I needed to win £1 to get my 2013 year to date profit / loss past a certain milestone (which I am not willing to share!) I put £1 on red, and the number was 32, which was a big fat loser on my £65 stake, and a small thin winner on my £1 stake. Always like finishing on a winner.
  21. I am not particularly proud of this, but I spent a couple of hours playing roulette today. I should be self-excluded from being able to do this but one site slipped through the net. Anyway, my bet history is below. For those who can't comprehend how people get problems from playing these machines, I hope this goes some way to, not explaining it, but demonstrating it. I played for 132 minutes. I had 150 spins. I staked £5,965 in this time. I lost £1,078 in 95 minutes. I then won £1,504 in 33 minutes. I got very lucky today, I was irresponsible and shouldn't have done it, but I was bored sitting at home just watching the darts.
