Change of odds no surprise. Three Centre Half's banned Snowdon, Campbell and MacDonald. Two Centre Half's injured Hunter and El-Zubadi.
So the the centrehalfs will probably be the new signing and somebody playing out of position. Personally I think Alan Mackenzie our big forward will get the defensive jersey.

With suspensions and injuries we are down to the bare bones. We will need a lot of luck to avoid a severe beating tomorrow.

    Mon the BU's !!

Were Snowdon and Campbell’s red cards merited ? As it appeared that Smith had his arms up but the Ref was behind play and he was behind play again when he gave a penalty or did he go on the say so of the linesman?

I believe we were too late to make an appeal.

Strange but ladbrokes who I believe have not made any price changes on the totally scottish coupon this year (Apart from SFL & FA Cup) have made one change this week.

    Bonnyrigg were Evens now 1/2

    Something must be amiss ?

Read a previous post then you can.  Two (2) players (defenders) straight Reds last week and 1 still got a match to serve not available plus Hunter - centre half- injured.

We are all entitled to our opinions , that’s why we come on here , but IMHO Mr Muirhead has admitted he was part of the “!mistake” so must also go .
No witch hunt , just the right thing to do .

Of course you are. However, do you know of people within the committee willing to take over these positions if Ian Muirhead had gone as well ?

I feel sorry for us the supporters but more so for the management and players who got us to the Final. However, they showed by their attitude on Saturday they are committed.

Lets put this episode to bed and get behind the club for what will be our hardest match of the season. Minus Will, Ross C, Ross M and likely Hunts.

Such a serious situation and potential massive financial loss to club that Mr Muirhead should also go.

Whilst he is the Chairman he is only really new to the position and has had to oversee the Club move from the East Juniors to the EOSL. IMHO no reason to resign.

The fact that due diligence wasn't adhered to prior to the signing makes the Secretaries position untenable. Proper procedure has to be followed before, during and after signing a player. The information on this Player was available on the SFA list of those suspended, along with (in Red) the warning to check out those still there from previous seaspns.

The question to ask is there procedures in place to follow when signing players? If not why not?

  5. On the Referee today where do you start?  How do you elbow someone when the player backs in to you and the the player deemed to be resposible ends up with a bruised cheekbone and a Red card? You then award a penalty when Dundonalds's keepers downs your  centre forward and not book him. Don't say double jeopardy.  In the second  half the Kelty keeper goes outside his box and collects the ball in full view of the linesman and it's an obvious foul and no booking given. Then Will Snowdon fouls a Kelty player in the box - not a goalscoring opportunity - and is red carded., penalty awarded no problem.  His name is Alex Shepherd. Beware this guy is even worse than Duncan Smith.  If he is being fast tracked  please do it soon as he his f""kig useless.

When you give 2 red cards and 1 booking to the away side and 6/7 yellows to the opposition - because I don't remember - you have to wonder about his ability.

Thanks to the team for their grit an determination in the face of adversity. As Jambo says  picking a MOTM is difficult but Michael Gemmill had a great game plus Marty turned up and does what Marty does but overall the whole team deserves a wee bit of credit. Thanks guys for a gutsy performance.

  6. The statement by the Club doesn't go far enough with Chairmans comment that he will review his position over the coming days. IMHO our chairman should be reviewing  the manner in which this situation was allowed to happen ie due diligence with correct procedure. Strong leadership is required to remedy the situation and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Bit more sober than the guy who had to get bits of the blaize track picked out of his coupon at Sauchie by your physio when we done you 4-1 in a final a few years back.  Not his best decision in life to dance like a gibbon on that wall, gave the rest of us a chuckle though.  Still memorable, added to a good day.

Non league fans boasting about their gargantuan support of 150 (which according to others is debatable) and then replying we're not you are when reminded off some of your fans inability to handle a drink.  Your patter's from the primary playground.  You all give and the others have to clean up.

What has that got to do with a good travelling support.

Never mentioned the word gargantuan. However, if the 248 given as Saturdays attendance is correct and Haddington's average is around 70 - as mentioned on here - then 150  is low. Debatable?

Clean up what? Some stupid arse who behaved like that.

Oh! well done on the cup win, thoroughly deserved and must have been 11/12 years ago

We were beaten by a good junior team and showed the level this committee has dragged our club down to

What about the chances that were missed ? The great TC missed a tap in, a one on one plus an open goal with keeper stranded. Any of these true as was told this yesterday or was it a figment of his imagination. Was that the committees fault!!!!

Clubs move on and new blood has to be introduced.

The last few games people on here saying the team were showing shoots of recovery.

Maybe the players need to show a bit more character ie grit and determination.

Will the club appeal the sending-off?  The more that you think about it, the more ridiculous the decision seems.  Any player at any level that has been spat at usually goes mental at the offender.  Not a sign of that on Saturday.  Our players reactions were way more severe.  Not one Hi-Hi player said a word.

Any player that spits on an opponent.deserves to get knocked clean out.

Of course he should but he didn’t. Your stating the bleeding obvious. Read the post you replied to.

Sorry for being a bit late to the party.

I dont actually know if we've ever played Linlithgow Rose before. If they come up and we're competing then possibly but I'm not convinced they'll see by Bo'ness.

I remember my papa used to take me to see them play each other as a young boy but we always stood behind the goals.

I'll never forget when a Rose player scored a free kick then ran by the terrace shhhhhing the Bo'ness fand only to get about a dozen beer bottles lobbed at him emoji23.pngemoji23.pngemoji23.pngemoji23.pngemoji23.png

    They’d be empty of course.

Camelon vs boness in the final Sunday 25the November

Which cancels our away trip to Eyemouth on the 24th November.

    Bummer.

However back to today and I am waxing lyrical here but a triumph over adversity with grit and determination.  MOTM very difficult McKenzie again puts in  a big shift, the back four/three before Michael Gemmell was shunted back to right back were immense. Campbell( aka Maldini) and Snowdon were outstanding and I've seen "Dougie" D play better (good cross for the winner however.) I wasn't going to critise the Ref but after few  beers I will,  he was shite.  My MOTM Syme by a nose.

As for young McDonald take it on the chin and move on.
