Well , I did question the decision at the time , giving to a man that was also culpable for the poor results .

Shame. Cowards way out if you ask me wanting to be your own man and take the reins just to go be assistant, only logical sense is getting paid well. Que them signing boys to go with them
Applied for the job and got it now walks away to join Max what a coward. Maybe not confident in his own ability to do it so gets the No2 position at Tranent with less pressure. Good riddance.

Digbada, McArthur, Hawkins, McAulay, Gemmell, Grant, Stevenson, Johnston. so far signed.
So according to the gospel of the font of all knowledge Number 7 they are all under achievers.Give the manager a chance to get players on board to build a team.

Justice has been served up pity that a play off gives a failure a second chance. Well done Spartans.

Option 1 would be best cannot think of why they are so against joining the existing reserve league
Not enough leverage in that when the aim is to get their ‘B’ teams up to the Championship perhaps.

So the Clubs in the final get hee haw. They increase the gate money by £2 for whose benefit? Berwick will get the ground rental plus whatever they make from the food outlet. The Blazers wil get their snouts into some free nosh. What a shambles and it’s the LL standard from top to bottom.

You could just not bother and forfeit it
The Challenge Cup Final is on the 28th this month at Broadwood between Spartans & Drumchapel, that makes logistical sense.
Methinks both clubs should try and get the LL to get a more suitable venue.

Berwick apparently if you go back a page.
Why? Surely a ground in the Central belt would make more sense. Round trip for BU fans app 150 miles and EK app 200 miles for a cup with no sponsorship and only benefits the Club with the home draw.
Now know what the Low in Lowland League stands for.

Trip to Cumbernauld Colts tomorrow. Looks like it will be a fine day for Fitbaw. The winner rewarded with a trip to the Final in Berwick !!!
The Lowland League committee get most things right but playing the Final in England is batshit mental.
Have you got the match time temperature at Broadfridge.

I only wish Bo’ness were able to do what Tranent are doing no matter how it’s done.
The malaise at my club is awful.

Maybe. It can't possibly be based on what was going on on the pitch - they have had a very good season, especially after Colin Nish came in. It does make you think there must be more to it.
Was it the same chairman when Max Christie walked away and then joined Bo’ness the next week? If so there seems to be no longevity in the job there.

Thanks for the updates, couldn’t make the match. When will we know who we play in the next round? About time we get a home draw
We got Spartans in the 1st Round but they had bigger fish to fry last week and this. All rounds drawn at the same time.

The Scottish Fitbaw pyramid is currently part shambles and part enigma smothered in secret sauce.
Doesn’t matter what ingredients you use it still come out as an unpalatable mess.
.The clubs apart from the O/F don’t have the balls to stand up to Maxwell and his hangers on.

I think everyone will agree that it would have been better that Covid hadn’t happened, and the season had played out. But we won the league according to the criteria at the time.
As you say no guarantee of promotion yet, but no play off against Beith, possibly no play off at all, is what I mean by the back door. Not won on the field, but due to off field regulations.Anyway cup half full, will enjoy the return of the wee rose when/if it happens.
Of course with events still to be decided or more likely forced on us Div 6 could be both our destination.

Mentioned previously that manager has players lined up, any idea who?
Heard a few players have signed back on but others like Nicky Locke, Zander Miller have not re-signed and losing Jamie is a blow also.
Be a bigger challenge for points next season.
Best to keep that info in house till the market place has opened.

Aww diddums - are you raging?
Sticks and stones, your personal attacks don't bother me, I'm an adult afterall I can take it, without resorting to stalking posts with Red Dots.
You’re an Adult are you? When you have a dig at a Children’s Fair Festival you really need to grow up.

I know the club is largely run by volunteers so I want to be clear that I'm not blaming them for this, but the club could be better at advertising this stuff and how to sign up around the town and the ground. I've been heading to games for a couple years now after moving to Bo'ness and other than the Treasure Chest in Tesco I haven't seen much - I'm not on FB so I don't know if the info is available there about things like the United Club.
Club has FB and Twitter accounts. Need to be more proactive promoting the Club around the town.

I'm hoping all the BU fans on here took out memberships do they can air their grievances and make changes st the AGM. There's no doubt new blood is needed in the running of the club. Most of the existing committees would probably agree.
It's easy to comment on here (as is people's right) but action is needed.
Spot on.
There are other ways to help the Club by joining the United Club, Player sponsorship, buy an extra treasure chest ticket or two.

Spoke to him when we played them last and he said he would probably finish at the end of the season.
