  1. It was Islay that I saw a corncrake - the only time i have ever seen one. It was near the RSPB centre at Loch Gruinart. I think the farmers there adhere to certain land management rules/conditions to allow them to breed successfully.
  2. Antarctica, Ecuador, Galapagos, Kenya, Peru, Tanzania & Zambia And friggin' Serbia
  3. Ha ha - I hope not, but they screwed up last year by losing to Wigan who were fighting relegation at the time. They have also lost a good number of local derbies in recent years as they are probably the team most others in Yorkshire love to beat. A bit like the Rhinos at Rugby League as well. I'm hoping this year is the year the finally make it back to the Premiership.
  4. Other examples for Killie in my time watching them - Malky McDonald Davie Sneddon Eddie Morrison Rab Stewart was also care-manager for a few games in the 80s.
  5. Definitely Mauchlen. I'm wondering if you are thinking of Kenny Armstrong Jim Clark was another great player but didn't have red hair.
  6. It's definitely Cappielow - Look at the dug outs and the fact the stand at the left hand side comes right to the front of the pitch. Ally Mauchlen was one of my favourite Killie players of the late 70s and early 80s and one of the hardest players I ever watched.
  7. Left foot: Tommy Burns Right foot: Tommy McLean Finishing: Kris Boyd Passing: Alexei Eremenko Speed: Shaun McSkimming (struggling with this one) Dribbling: Pat Nevin Heading: Eddie Morrison Tackling: Derrick McDicken
  8. Agree with this, although too many f*ckwits in this country don't seem to think the lockdown applies to them.
  9. 100% correct. Hopefully this idiotic idea will never come to fruition.
  10. Good statement from the Sonstrust. Hopefully supporters of other clubs will make similar ones.
  11. I remember standing in that part of the ground around 1971/2 when my father took me to a pre season friendly as we were on holiday near Dingwall. I think there was an ex Hibs centre forward playing for/guesting for County that day, but can't remember his name
  12. 1982 - I had to google it. I was there too but don't remember that game at all - I had to watch the video to see how he scored.
  13. The guy who chairs the show, and is a Motherwell fan, mentioned this earlier in the week, but I can't remember if it was Monday or Tuesday night.
  14. I'm sure most Arthurlie season ticket holders would have willingly forfeited any refund to help keep the club afloat.
  15. I was at the Rangers game (I am standing behind the goals they scored 5 goals into) and went on holiday the next day returning the day before the St Mirren game which I went to. From memory Jimmy Bone ran the game. Jim Clunie (nae clue) was the St Mirren manager at the time. I also went to Parkhead 3 weeks later and saw us humped by them after Gordon Crammond scored for us first. That season proved why Allan McCulloch was such a great keeper for us, as IMO he had kept us up the season before, and he was badly injured the week before the Rangers game when we lost 2-0 to Morton.
  16. Wouldn't disagree with you either. There were a good number of candidates for both categories.
  17. Best Killie keepers in my time watching us are - Allan McCulloch, Ally Hunter and Jim Stewart. Worst - Jim Brown, Francois Dubourdeau, and Chad Harpur. Craig Samson was very poor too.
