  1. Aye Tanaka was a beast. I read TNA were already looking at a few Japanese guys they want to bring in.
  2. He's in talks with TNA to come in and take complete creative control of the company....a similar position to the one Dana White has in UFC. Some people withi the company are confident of Heyman coming in. Apparentyl Tna have also agreed to give him everything he has asked for so far.
  3. I have loads. Of course there is the inevitable Rey/Eddie match at Halloween Havoc. Then there is Benoit/Sullivan, No Holds Barred from the Great American Bash. My favourite ever ECW match is a bit of a weird one and I'm a bit vague about, it was only like a 6/7 minute match but it blew my fucking mind, but I actually have no idea what show it's from, around '96 i think, but here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYr5T3D6HH8 The Eliminators truly are one of my favourite tag teams of all time.
  4. What the f**k happened to Smackdown tonight....I set it to record while I was out and came back to watch it and instead I've got fucking tennis!!!
  5. Foleys promos in the build up to WM22 and in the build upto to ECW ONS with him and Edge vs Dreamer/Funk are some of the best promos I've ever seen.
  6. Mick Foley for me is far and away the best promo man the business has ever seen.
  7. He does change the way he says things to "proper English", probably because his accent is too thick for the Americans, but I haven't noticed it being anything other than Scottish.
  8. Nah. They have their weekly show in the states on TV but not here since they deal ended with TWC.
  9. It made no fucking sense. Hall was released so they took the titles from them.....even them Mike Tenay said several times that they were defending them under the "Freebird Rule".
  10. Wow, Cav got really emotional there.
  11. Good to see after his disapoiting day yesterday....how far back is he in the race for the points jersey?
  12. I'm sorry, what? Staring at the camera and pulling a face that says "I'm trying to have a shite" doesn't count as charisma. As far as I'm concerned he's dull and only has a job because of his look, although it is apparent his in ring skills have greatly improved in the last few months.
  13. Thank f**k Shawn Michaels retired when he did.
  14. They have been trying to get Austin and The Rock to guest host at some point this summer, so it wouldn't surprise me if Austin did make an appearance....but he is NOT the GM.
  15. Neither of them seemed too badly hurt,a few cuts and bruises but I reckon they should be fine.
  16. They've ripped the arse oot it now....it's not Stone Cold (or as Mike Goldberg said at UFC 116 "Steve 'Cold Stone' Austin".)
  17. No real surprise that Cancellara blew everyone away. What did surprise me a little though was Armstrong getting a better time than Contador. The organiseres seem to have designed it to keep the race close until the mountains so I thought Contador would try to edge ahead a little today.
