Madness that folk, having seen the replays, still think the penalty was harsh. It’s as blatant a penalty as you‘ll see.
On the Ferguson front, the second yellow shouldn’t have been a booking, however it’s clearly given for the accumulation of all of the fouls he committed, at least 4, between his first yellow and the sending off. A shit sending off, but he was lucky to still be on the park by that point.

The club are bang to rights. I don’t think anyone is denying the club is in the the wrong.
The frustration is that there are no guidelines as to what punishments would be in place for breaches. That should have clearly been set out before a ball was kicked - that way no club could complain when hammered.
Match forefeits puts us on a slippery slope. They really need to outline why this was the conclusion reached and come out with formal protocols for future breaches.

Did Magenis see his future away from St Mirren, or did the agent? It's entirey possible that whilst Magennis wasn't working his ticket, the agent perhaps was?

What an embarrassing statement to put out. Who accepted the deal? So why whinge? The board let the player get down to the final year of a contract and then accepted cash for him. Who exactly is to blame? Why is it the player's fault?

If Hibs have made a decent offer, give the current circumstances, and the player has less than a year of his contract left then it’s really a no brainer.
Magennis is a decent player. However, at just 22, he’s probably spent more time out injured as he has playing football.
Decent enough signing for the Hibees, but I wouldn’t put him in the class of a McGinn, McLean, Mallan or Morgan.

Can't say I'd be too bothered if Magennis went. Good player, but far too injury prone at such a young age and he's hardly in the bracket of McGinn, McLean, Mallan or Morgan.
I'd like to keep him, but if we get a decent off then we should 100% take it.

That decision not to award a penalty for the handball was absolutely hilarious.
It wouldn’t have made a blind bit of difference to the result right enough, but absolutely mental that it wasn’t given.

St Mirren “da” types are forlorn figures who get all weepy eyed at the mere thought of Gus MacPherson’s spell as manager, who constantly hark on about his win record with us and who want him to replace every Saints manager who has had the boot in the past decade.
