  1. Interviews with Sagan and Chavez after the stage, both of them cool as f**k, love their sport.
  2. Sagan back to being second after a fine win yesterday. Valverde with the win. Froome & Quintana keeping pretty quiet so far.
  3. The opening TTT stage of the Vuelta won't count towards the general classification because it's on a fucking beach. Great organisation as usual in Spain >_>
  4. Cheers for the heads up. Bathgate is a bit off the beaten track for me but the info is most welcome.
  5. I'll tweak saddle height and possibly handlebars as well.
  6. Been clocking up a few kms recently, good 50km ride up towards Glenisla from Blairgowrie this evening, the roads round here are made for cycling, back-breaking wee climbs everywhere. One thing I've found is my lower back gets a little painful, nothing too bad, but a pain nonetheless. Assuming it's ride position, possibly need to increase saddle height?
  7. Whole Garmin team has been pulled from the Tour of Utah where Danielson is the two time defending champion. Vaughters has big problems.
  8. Doesn't do Garmin's reputation as the cleanest team in cycling any good.
  9. Did the ridge years back, but the mist came down so didn't get the proper experience. Definitely need to do it again.
  10. Think More could win by 6 or 7.
  11. Can't see Thomas doing much in Spain, he's had a heavy season already. They'll go with Henao and hope for the best. I've seen elsewhere Costa isn't riding which would be surprising. Forgot to mention Purito earlier, that elusive GT win may just never come, but he'll take out a couple of stages as usual. Stage 11 in Andorra looks interesting...
  12. I made a f**k up posting it first time round, quickly deleted then posted again. You're too quick off the mark!
  13. a). It clearly wasn't securely attached, but more importantly, b). Why the f**k would you take your prize mountain bike to a music festival full of steaming drunks?
  14. What we thinking for La Vuelta? Landa is an obvious starter, Aru may well support him. Not sure if any of the Tour guys will be up there. Maybe the super strength veteran Valverde. Quintana is also a possibility. Rui Costa and TJVG will probably start after a curtailed TDF.
  15. Good first post in the thread. Welcome further insightful delights.Since you seem so knowledgeable, perhaps you can explain the performance of Alexandro Valverde who finished on the podium quite some time behind Froome? A convicted cheat. Now riding better than ever, and peaking for the Classics and Tour. Also seems to have made a lot of people forget he was at the centre of the Puerto revelations years back.
  16. I remember Valverde beating Armstrong up Courchevel years ago, he looked even stronger today. Nae bather.
  17. Froome has lost it saying Nibali is a c**t for attacking him when he had a mechanical. Is Nibali not something like 8 minutes behind? My prediction is that Froome will go bananas tomorrow and stick a minute into Quintana and three into anybody else. Nibali might attack early to cause a reaction then sit up later.
  18. As the journalist who had it in for Armstrong almost more than any other and detailed it all in his book, Seven Deadly Sins, he's now losing credibility at an alarming rate. Seems he now knows very little about anything. Getting ripped apart on Twitter as well.
  19. Romain Bardet took out the exact same stage in the Dauphine last month, incredible descending: https://youtu.be/U36X0gsdrgQ
  20. Tom Steels through his bidon at Frédéric Moncassin during a final sprint in the Tour in 97, instantly removed from the race.
  21. Not sure what that Froome sprint was all about at the finish, endearing himself to nobody, very Armstrong type behaviour.
  22. He needs a better nickname. Mind you Froomedog is the worst of all time.
  23. Top 30 times up the Plateau de Beille since it was introduced to the Tour in 1998. Edit: Contador at No 2). should read 2007.
