tbf to Lachlan, I was a big critic for a long while and I've no time for those that don't/won't acknowledge his numerous mistakes over the years, it's been a long painful journey interspersed with a few great memories but we're back to where we started as a team who are not just happy avoiding relegation from the Championship, we've a good manager with potentially a very good side and more importantly Lachlan has so far shown his unwillingness to punt us to any old chancer that chaps his door. Hopefully he can find the cash/inclination to bring in a few new faces to bolster our promotion chances.

I have no problem with it, hopefully all the Tallbut and Killie fans follow suit so I can forget who gubbed us yesterday.

People will just use the "they sat in" excuse, while that's true, I was down in the corner where Robbie was playing in the 1st half and he didn't have the inclination/bottle/confidence to test his man, McDaid looked similar on the other side but not near enough for me to say with certainty. Willie Lyle must have left the pitch wondering what all the fuss was about, he's probably tested more on a weekly basis given his age.

I'm more disappointed at our lack of quality at the top end, even if we played well yesterday Talbot would still have created chances, there's no way we were turning up at Beechwood and Talbot weren't going to have a spell of creating chances, they win trophies for a reason.

That just highlights the fact that we allowed them to put in quite a few crosses and when we did they put in quite a few decent ones, on the other hand, we were unable to get in positions to put in crosses for most of the game and when we did, our supposed higher level players put in poor balls for the most part.

I'm not going to pile the blame on Higgy as there were too many that played worse than him yesterday. Personally I don't think Higgins and Rose works as a partnership, I never felt it worked last season in League One so I'm less than keen to see them together in the remainder of this season.

I was right next to them and they were flapping like f**k, I even said to Bell that he needed to get on and calm them down.

I had no doubt he was coming on up front, he should actually have been on in defence after 55 minutes as our back 5 were clearly crumbling at that point.

I actually said that to Kenny Pirie leaving the ground, now that I'm calm I'm still not convinced that I'm far off the mark, he'll certainly need to up his game big style to change my mind.
