Not sure if Finnie had much game time before he joined us. He looks good some of the time. Good crossing and passing, then he makes the odd glaring mistake. I think he can improve if he stays with us.

I'd definitely take Liam back. He would score a good few in League 2.

I think the stock cars have a closed door practice session on which overlaps with the first hour of the beer garden. Might get interesting.

Brora and Kelty will be off the pace with no competitive games (although some of the Kelty players were loaned to league teams). You need to give some players a breather in preparation for the play off games. Use the guys who normally sit on the bench for the last two games. You never know, some of them may take the opportunity to stake a claim for a start in the play off games. You do create chances in games and I think it might be very similar to when we played East Kilbride four years ago. 0-0 in the first game (although we missed a penalty) and 1-1 in the second game. Both tight affairs. Good luck.

There is a beer garden at Central Park this very Saturday. 3pm to 5pm. Heard the Annan game will be live on a big screen as well. (that last part is pure fabrication, your statutory rights are not affected. Other beer gardens are available who will also not be showing the Annan game live).

I remember the Forfar fans stating the same. He only seems to have one game plan and he sticks to it no matter what. It might not have worked anyway, but why would you not try and change it to, say 2 or 3 upfront after Brechin score? It's like groundhog day. What does he think is going to miraculously happen?

I think this idea is starting to grow on me. Might take about a week (depending on results beforehand) for me to be fully convinced though .

You can see it now. Brechin make up the points and are winning the last game to go above us as we are losing our last game 1-0 and sticking with the same failed formation as tonight. Then with a few minutes to go, Bollan brings on a striker and expects miracles.

Not really. They are 24 goals better off compared to Brechin.

Yeah. Unbelievable. We cannot score, so we bring in some other strikers. What do we do? Give them very little game time and stick with one upfront, that one being the 'striker' that plays almost every minute of every game and rarely even threatens the opposition goal. No doubt our tactics will be the same again for the remaining games.

Hoping Annan do us a favour on Thursday now.

Losing was always a possibility for this one, but the least I would have expected is to go on the attack. Not revert back to the failed one upfront tactic. Then we wait until the match is almost over to bring some subs on!
