How about paying the clubs you owe with some of this money? Clubs who have far less money and live within their means. Or, why not just fritter it away on trying to maintain the dream of living beyond your means.

Football in Scotland will always survive. I keep saying it year after year, when are these clubs who spend money they don't have going to wake up to reality?? Why do they pay such ridiculous wages to mediocre players? I feel sorry for some Townie fans, but not all of them. They take great delight in making fun of smaller clubs, sometimes sneering at them, sometimes patronising them. Yet, all the time they have been in a totally false position pi**ing away money they did not have to get in that position. They are a small club and always will be and the sooner they wake up to that the better. Scotland is a small country with small teams and the only way we will compete in the future is to develop our youngsters the correct way. Not by pretending that we can somehow buy success with debt whilst pandering to every whimper from Celtic or Sevco. Instead, our football is run by buffoons who do absolutely nothing of any use to promote our game at grassroots level. It is little better than it was ten or twenty years ago and any minor improvements have come from external influences. Scottish football, like in some other countries, needs a total overhaul. However, nothing will happen. The fans will be ignored yet again and some other farcical league set-up will be introduced to keep us bored to death and strangle the game even further.

The 3rd division will have to expand at this rate. It's just like playing SFL Snakes and Ladders. Why not set up a new division 4 and call it the administration league, with entry to the 3rd division after a set period of stability?

Why don't the league just spell it out to everyone what the options are? Then, someone make a decision. It just drags on and on and changes constantly. Surely there are limited outcomes.

Before that happens I will throw in a few more lines. Surely time is running out. Nobody is going to save them now (not that any of them were ever serious about doing so. They only wanted to keep their nose in to see if they could pick them up on the cheap). It looks to me like they really are going to go bust. They are fast running out of money and they don't even own most of the future season ticket income. If they had any sense, none of the knuckledraggers would buy a season ticket (just pay at the gate) and that way ticketus would not get any money. Before they know it, they will be bust. The remaining players will walk off on free transfers and they will be left with nothing. If they took their punishment fair and square and pleaded to get into the 3rd division then other fans would be a little bit less hateful (only a little bit though). They are laughable at best. If they were allowed to do what they have done and get off with a minor telling off, every other club could do the same. Run up huge debts buying trophies they did not deserve (they cheated their way to them all), refuse to cough up when caught and expect to start it all over again! I think the SFA and league should wipe all their titles and cup wins from the records for the last twenty five years. They are no better than drugs cheats.

You are quite right. The punishment should be far worse. What great deeds are the Rangers masses going to do? Are they going to offer to pay all the debt? No? They are going to do hee-haw, business as usual.
